Sorry, but AI doesn’t have the human touch, doesn’t feel nuances. AI doesn’t feel, it reports. I will probably still listen from time to time, but there are lots of flesh and blood readers out there.

Yes. There is a lack of human inflections that impart the story, especially at the ending climax. It just stops. Lacking the relative inflections. Let's give the reading to humans. They need the work 😢

Good story made audible by British ai. It delivers the recitation as only animated imitation is thus far capable. While listening allows me to multitask it is regrettable the tale is fraught, whacked, chopped by a bloodless, inhuman reader. Imperfect is only the beginning. Reality is being distorted by illusion. Like tv, food additives and cosmetics alter the ordinary and mundane. Civilization is being synthesized. And l just don't like it. 🎯

The story had been written by a human being, it stayed on dusty shelves forgotten for more than a century! And no one thought to narrate it. AI is justified here

There are plenty of people willing to read audiobooks for just the credit. Likely no one with the choice prefers artificial " intelligence " over humans talking about people in stories.@@DMFiction
