You are absolutely right. Not everyone can pull off a close up or look fabulous in every single shade like she does. I am thankful to you for creating these beautiful lip colors. also, Persimmon is a type of fruit and the color of the fruit is the exact same color of the lipstick so I think that's where they got the name from it :)

This will be the first time I make a comment on RU-vid, I haven't had a reason to make any comments before. I feel grateful for your channel and to you, I found your channel searching for help with eye brows. Since I found you a week ago I've spent a lot of time learning all about make-up, a subject I had no clue about. You're so much fun to learn from. I've always been scare of make-up, I've spent all my adult years not knowing how to put make-up on so I didn't. I was a mascara and lipstick girl until I found your videos. This past weekend I threw out all my cheap no good make-up, went to Sephora & Macy's and invested a ton of $ on all the the basics, like naked pallet, foundation, bronzers, primers, etc. Never had I ventured into those departments and spend my hard earn money on myself, I guess I've neglected myself, but nowI feel pretty and happy. Thank you, for helping women like me (who are clueless about cosmetics) feel confident enough to try new things. I just turned 40, and it depressed me a bit, now thanks to you I don't have to look old and tired...I'm looking old and fabulous! Thank you for the inspiration, ideas, and recommendations. God bless you with good health so you can continue sharing your knowledge with us.

I did my make up for about 2 hours. I watched your contour highlight video, then your eyebrow tutorial, and now this one. We just had a moment! I would love to see that as well, but Jaclyn doesn't wear glasses as far as I know. I do though and I love wearing neutral matte eye shadow and colored eyeliner to bring more definition and attention to them and of course a little mascara. That is just what I do when I wear my glasses. Hope that helps!

Hey Jaclyn that one you weren't sure how to pronounce. Its per- sim (short I sound) mon (should like min). That is how we say it in the South. Per-sim-min . BUT Some say the last part, mon like the word "on". So per-sim-mon. It is a type of fruit. It kind of looks like a lil pumpkin. Just wanted to help out there.

Awesome description and explanation of the pronunciation. I kind of think they look like light orangey tomatoes? The first time I saw one I asked my friend what was wrong with her tomatoes? They taste SO good though- juicey but dry mouth feel and a sweet nectary flavor. MMMM...might be one of my favorite fruits.

It's a popular fruit here in Indiana. There's a Persimmon Festival in my county every fall. Persimmon pudding is a go-to dessert, but I personally never cared for it.

Definitely a Jaclyn hill pallete eye shadow tutorial or do multiple ones for every kind of girl to show how versatile it is also girrrrrrrrl ik you luvvvv the 90s there is a new show called hindsight were this woman has a second chance at her unsuccessful life and goes back to 1995 there is only one episode out and it has 90s fashion music and of course friends references I hope you see this comment and become as obsessed I have with this show

Coconut oil or Vaseline as well is good for removing lip color . And baby oil for makeup

I just found you're channel and love it! I wish you would do a nighttime skin care routine for various skin types. I have oily skin & am fearful of moisturizers because I don't want to wake up looking like a grease ball. Also, a makeup tutorial for "mom's". I'm still hanging on to my 20s with 3 little babes but, I want to still look good. I'd love a makeup tutorial for the "average stay at home mom". You're awesome & beautiful! :)

I have very oily skin as well, and I didn't use moisturizers like I should've. But last week, I got this face wash by Neutrogena, it came with a face lotion that changed my life lol! Its just called "oil-free lotion". It has SPF15 because the wash makes your skin more prone to getting sunburned. As a nighttime skin care, I would recommend Neutrogena complete acne therapy system, it clears my face and helps keep it clear. It doesn't lie when it says it starts working in 4 days. Wow, it sounds like I'm going to marry this stuff, but it really works, I would recommend it to everyone with oily skin. I hope this helps!

I actually work in skincare so I might be able to help?? I would definitely recommend the moisturizer that Clarins carries specifically for oily skin, since it's made to take care of skin that can look like "a grease ball". They also have a line called Multi-Active that is made for people in their 20's-30's that are just noticing first signs of aging (fine lines). You mentioned you're in your 20's which is why I'm recommending that lol. I hope this helps a tiny bit!

I have oily skin as well and no matter what skin type you are you should ALWAYS use a moisturizer, gel moisturizers are better for oily skin types. Your body is producing oil, but the oil isn't actually hydrating your skin which is what it needs. When you put moisturizer on your skin, your body recognises that there is oil there and so it stops making more. If you are really concerned then you should try using a toner after cleansing and then apply moisturizer. Hope this helps :)

This review is too subjective no matter what you said because Norvina is your friend, and you didn't pay them with your money. We are all excited when we get something free but please. They're quite expensive, but this review made me buy 2 of them. They transfer, dissapear when I eat and fade after few hours (Kat Von D ones are freaking glue!). I didn't hear you say one bad thing so.. Honesty is appreciated, but where is it? ...

I mean let's be honest too, if you eat OILY or GREASY food, they will come off even just slightly and that's every liquid lipstick not just these. That's why she used oily between swatches. I see where you're coming from, but I've followed Jaclyn for the longest time and have never been misled by a product.

the Anastasia ones are like glue to me the Kat von d ones transfer and dissappear in 3-4 hours. the Anastasia ones are more drying for sure. I think everyone has different results.

+Chloe Connor I know this is an old comment. But I definitely feel misled also...I ordered almost solely because of this video. I have two of the kat von d ones and LOVE them, so was interested in trying a different color and decided to try the Anastasia ones because every single youtube guru I watched... who received them all for free...(see a pattern?) raved about them. It's AWFUL. And I got Heathers which is a dark vampy color so I looked like a clown because I trusted it would wear like the kat von d ones. I finally went in the bathroom and used a chapstick and a paper towel to try to remove it. (which worked far too well) It transferred like crazy on straws and when I ate. The kat von d ones take me rubbing with coconut oil for a bit AT THE END OF MY DAY to remove. I am looking into returning it because its ridiculous.

I'm going through some of your old videos and you look so stunning in this video! I love your vibrant red hair. I know hate is hard to ignore Jaclyn and you've been dealing with a large amount of it lately because you are a sweet soul so they target you. But stay strong and do everything in your power to focus on the good!
