It wasn't made by Disney but by 20th Century Fox. Gary Goldman and Don Bluth, producer/director, were Disney animators. Disney now owns the right to Anastatia since they bought Fox.

Took kids I babysat to see this. To indulge them mostly. But when the couples burst from the paintings and the room transforms, it pushed me back in my seat. Still gives chills.
