Once Upon a December for voice, string ensemble, and piano is an arrangement for intermediate to advanced ensemble and is a wonderful addition to any Christmas/holiday program. Violin 1 requires the occasional shift above 3rd position. The cello and bass parts are unique. The piano part is advanced, requiring larger jumps and chords. Starting in B minor, the key then changes from C minor to C sharp minor.

Hello, I teach high school ballet and am choreographing Once upon a December for their winter term/February performance. I'm working with the music department, trying to incorporate music students for live performance to accompany dancers - voice, piano, violin, and flute - they are intermediate level. Would you be able to add flute to this arrangement in this key? The vocalist has been cast and sings it best in this key. Thanks, Christine

I would be happy to take a look at this! Do you mean that you only want voice/piano/violin/flute, or that you just want flute added to this arrangement (keeping the viola, cello, and bass?)

Hi wendy, Sorry I hadn't seen your response. Voice/piano/violin/flute, please. Good length for my dance students. Music director says they are intermediate musicians, so easy to learn and play for mid Feb. performance. They return to school Jan 3. How long would it take to arrange?
