Anastatus bifasciatus parasitizes an egg of Iphiclides podalirius 

Anastatus bifasciatus (Geoffroy, 1785) is a 1.5 - 2 mm long, parasitoid wasp in the family Eupelmidae (Chalcidoidea). It is a widespread generalist egg parasitoid native to Europe, of various insect species, especially lepidoptera and hemiptera.
It is used for augmentative biological control against the Brown marmorated stink bug (Halyomorpha halys).
We have regularly reared A. bifasciatus from eggs of the Scarce swallowtail (Iphiclides podalirius).
