I burst out laughing at "This thing is chewing on my hair. Why is it doing that?" said in the exact same tone as the romantical words that preceded it.
I love Jotaro going ‘bitch no, it’s her decision not mine, what the fuck’ And then Jotaro staring so offended when Jolyne accepts Annasui proposing to her TO EMPORIO LMFAO
It was more like a “Are you crazy? You’re a murderer and we’re in a life and death situation. Do you think I would ever accept you?” He was shocked at first but content with Jolyne’s statement because he knew it was a better way of thinking considering it offered hope of life after rather than keeping the bleak thought of death on your mind. Not sure if Jolyne actually would’ve accepted. Maybe, but perhaps it was more of a drive to push on rather than to give up. However, as the 3rd universe implied, eventually they would’ve got closer and hooked up. She seemed to have gotten closer with that gesture with him even if it was to keep Anasui focused on the battle; a possibility nonetheless.
As Anasui says, he’s not sure Jolyne would feel that way right after, but in time he would at least want the go ahead from the father prior. Jotaro’s response to that was fairly normal I reckon and funny.
@@thegreatgamingkid8252 And Jotaro didn't even technically say no. That "Look where we are" to me says try asking me when a demented priest isn't about to kill us.
Imagine being Jotaro: The last time you saw your daughter she just had her first days of school, now some pink haired shirtless weirdo asks you to marry her while all of you are about to die.
@@EggEnjoyer I know but they look cute animated~ even if its common sense to protect her in the manga is not that detail the hug so it was cute to see it again
@Un Shakl3d I don’t see that at all. Jolyne wouldn’t have said anything if that were the case. He was already saying what he said and would’ve fought anyway. For her to say herself that he should ask her to marry him after, would have to mean she agreed to it.
Both in the sub and the dub you can hear genuine nervousness/fear from Anasui in that final chuckle he gives to Emporio when he says he feels lucky. He knew he was gonna die, still cracked a joke and it only got sadder when Jolyne actually accepted his one and only wish. Part 6 broke me, I hated Pucci so much by the end.
4:11 that hug tho. I think Jolyne started feeling something towards Annasui. I mean, the whole thing Jolyne was involved has nothing to do with him and yet, he risked it all for her.
IKR, for me jolyne had feelings for annasui in the end, after saw of what he was capable of for protect her and their friends. Even jotaro had some respect for him after annasui save him from pucci's attacks and ear his plan and strategies to defeat him.
@@aeki4923Anasui did have some weird respect for F.F though, in his own way at least. He was 100% willing to give his body to her so that she could live and help Jolyne, he didn't even think about telling her to heal him instead. And also after her death he says that one of his reasons to go after Pucci is to repay F.F for saving him.
Anasui started as a creep but DAMN did he improve over time. He started out with selfish intentions of marrying Jolyne even without her agreement, but the more time he spent with her the deeper he fell in love with her to the point he'd risk his own life for her safety and happiness. He even admitted to Jotaro he doesn't actually think Jolyne will marry him but that didn't stop him from helping her. All he wanted to do was propose to her in the end, even if he was expecting to be let down. Even when Jotaro was convinced he wasn't good enough for his daughter, Anasui still protected him and the entire crew with his life. He wanted Jolyne to find happiness instead of himself, otherwise he would've gone "Oh you don't want to marry me? Then I won't help you, bai!" He was smart and an excellent fighter and I was disappointed how little attention Jolyne gave him during their time together. The ending was so wholesome with them being together and planning on getting married in the alternative reality.
I mean, Emporio didn't, isn't, and won't do a bunch of fighting. Everyone else in the group is bone tired and needs to reserve all their strength for what's to come. While the kid is short, it makes better sense to make him drive.
Ngl, same. It just hit me again that we’re probably never going to see the og lineage again, at least not in person. (Not for a while if at all and even then it may be a cameo)
**Anasui asks Jotaro for his daughters hand while in a life or death situation** Jotaro: **embraces Jolynne** come near me or my daughter and you're getting ora'd harder than Dan
I'm happy they are a couple after the chaos with Pucci where they reincarnated in a good storyline with different name and met their old friend again where they're living happily
Just like when Silver Chariot, the stand that boasts of speed, is most menacing at a slow pace, Jotaro, the most violent, is the most savage at his quietest moment
@@AnimeIsMeName technically Irene has Jolyne's soul, but her memories and past are different, I think it's up to you to believe which ever theory you want to, since we got no clear answer, I personally believe that they're different people
Yukako and Koichi was a little forced to me. Recreated Misery and tried to kill him. Josuke nearly falling out of a building was an entire understandable reaction. Plus in the reset timeline Anasui didn’t seem to be arrested as Jolyne wasn’t arrested in that timeline but they still met up. They looked too young to have served their respective sentences. Jolyne was set for 15 years, and since Anasui was done for two homicides, not manslaughter, he’d be in for longer.
I like to think that the events of the 3rd universe is different so if they did defeat pucci then Jolyne wouldn't be with Anasui but only Irene and Anakiss are together
