This was SO helpful. I've been watching countless videos like this over the last few months to help out with the nonsense of getting a degree online (thanks corona). Usually, I struggle to make it through without zoning out and rewinding the video over and over... This time was different! Something about the casual tone, maybe your overuse of the word "like"... It feels like you're just talking to a friend. You don't dumb it dumb, over-explain, or overcomplicate it. Idk man, it just held my attention and I learned it the first time! thanks!!

About the transitional epithelium, isn't it normally stretched, and then contracts to become columnar looking?

is there some factor resulting in the curvature of simple squamous epithelium? the dimension of the composed cells? by dimensions of composed cells, there should be some references in simple and stratified, or even for pseudostratified constructions

I don't think simple cuboidal epithelium is meant for protection as one of its functions. Pretty much anything under simple epithelium are not for protection 'cause they're too thin for that (even the simple columnar which is basically one cell away from the outside amidst its elongated nature). Perhaps you meant the stratified ones. Great video tho!
