Love you Armando! You always explain things clear and your drawings really help the learning process go smoothly. May God bless you for all you time and dedication. You are going to be an amazing Doctor!
Hey man just want to say thank you for taking the time to upload this video and share it with the world - it is really useful in this day and age where time is of the essence and we want to learn things as quickly as possible in a simple form like this video!
Beautifully done. I suffered my stroke on 11/30/2016. I had pre-existing 100% occlusion of my left internal carotid. Atherosclerotic plaque lead to blockage in my left mid-cerebral artery in segment M1 and extending into M2. I was fairly familiar with the vascular anatomy and could visualize my problem, but I really wanted to diagram it for those of my friends and family that might be interested. Your video did an excellent job of doing just that. Thank you!
Hey Armando, trust me your work is doing grate this way as regards to my Degree in nursing. Neuroanatomy is becoming a walk over after watching your videos. Keep it up bro ✊
Hey Armando, thank you so much for your videos with clear explanations and also colourful...your videos really helped me through first year of Nursing school and I passed all my papers...anatomy, physiology and biochemistry subtopics were the most difficult for me to understand, but after watching your videos, I was able to answer...thank you again and thank you so much...:) :)
more power my friend you're a big help for people like me, I'm already rusted with my medical theoretical but because of your videos it makes my review easier and your explanation is simple and easy to comprehend
Hello Sir, i really appreciate your educational videos. A lot of effort is clearly shown. It is just that I learned that MCA or Middle Cerebral Artery does Not share in the formation of the Circulus Arteriosus aka Circle of Willis. So yes it should be taken under consideration.
Armando you are so talented in both artistic and academic areas. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge in such an entertaining and informative way. I get so much out of what you offer. Some of this is review for me some is brand-new material that makes so much sense coming from you. Thank you so much. Lauri
I love you!!! Thank you so much!!! It’s not just this, you always help in ways I can’t even explain, not only that you make it easier to understand, I also never forget anything at all, thank you from the bottom of my heart
It is a good basic explanation, but anatomically wrong to say that the anterior amd middle cerebral arteries are branches of the basilar artery... They simply form the circle of willis together, but the anterior and middle cerebral arteries are the terminal arteries of the internal carotid
Victoria Garcia thank you...it was all interesting until the vasculature part...needs review, post cerebral artery didn't form the circle of Willis, neither did circle of Willis form middle and anterior cerebral ateries, rather the anterior, middle and posterior cerebral ateries; together with their communicating ateries form the circle of Willis
Sir...what a clear explanation...it took me 3year to study about the circle of Willis and stroke......You just Simply explained it less that 10 minutes 😮....Great sir.... Thankyou for the Explanation
amazing effort, great video, thank you ! please see that TIAs are now by definition much less than 24 hours. a minority of brain bleeds are due to aneurysms. more often they happen in older individuals with hypertension, which weakens the arteries in the deep brain and cerebellum
Absolutely brilliant wonderful information, I have had strokes,+ also (tias) around the pons area ,,my brother simultaneously had strokes, then within six months ,ischemia stroke and sad he died ,this is a wonderful video of information, thank you
Thank you for your clear demonstration. May I ask for taking videos about how to draw different internal structures in various ways? I wanna make my own notes so I hope to know how to draw them. Manyyyy Thanks 🙏🏿
Then you for a great video as always, however I was a little puzzled when you stated at around 5:50 that a TIA is -reduced blood flow- for up to 24 hours. Other places I've seen TIA described as a stroke where the -symptoms- are gone within 24 hours. As the brain suffers irreversible damage after only 4 minutes of ichemia, it seems odd that full recovery is swift if an area was poorly perfused for hours.
I had two CVA''s at the age of 5 in 1969.. I am 53 years old and am physically handicapped. I have epilepsies. . I obviously take madications against them. Very interesting. Thanks, David
You are absolutely amazing and really helpful. Those drawings have helped me a lot understand better my biology class. But,I have something to ask(if you can of course). In some cases I can not undestand what you are writing, because you do it very quickly. So can your handwriting be a little bit clearer? Thanks a lot again! :) Very good job! :)
I want to emphasis that internal carotid artery has bigger role in formation of circle of Willis. It carries more blood, supplies more area. The anterior cerebral artery and posterior cerebral artery are branches of internal carotid artery. So basically, we better go from internal carotid artery branching into anterior and middle cerebral artery, we connect middle cerebral artery to posterior cerebral artery( vertebral artery origin) through post.comm. Artery and then we get circle of wilis
