For me, that is not the basics. The basic characteristic of a boat is the shape of the bottom, and without grabbing it by the end, flipping it over and shooting the video down the line of the bottom and curve just below the water line, ...I've got no idea what you have there. Of course the other stuff is important, but is secondary to the bottom shape which more significantly determines how easily it moves through the water, turns and feels when healed. I've heard a lot about the Old Town Tripper and was hoping to see the lines of the bottom. Of course the beam and length have big affects on these characteristics as well, but these stats are easily found, and often they vary, as in a line up of tripper, tripper long, tripper wide or slim, where in they will all have, "the basic design implementation" of a certain shape of bottom.
