This movie was compelling in ways I didn’t expect. The acting was incredible. The way their marriage ended up being on trial was devastating.

That version was so good! the actress who plays the lead is also in a movie called zone of interest and I highly recommend it

The only hint of his character We get in the film is 50 cent PIMP song blasting - so immediately we can find him rude n maybe obnoxious-

I just listened to the director and she says she wanted to use DollyParton Jolene but the estate said no.can you imagine how that song would have colored the film differently

I watched this movie a few days ago and at first I thought it was an interesting watch, but it kind of lingered. Everyone on the cast seemed to be at their best, but the true highlights for me are Milo (Daniel), Sandra and Messi the dog! The scene where he confesses to the experiment and asks for help hit me so hard.

That child actor was so amazing and that scene with the dog was one of the best . I think the movie was very well done, it did take me a while to warm up to it .

@@alwayswatching2295 exactly. It's so interesting that depending on the version you can "believe" the truth you want.. And just like the caretaker lady said "that does not mean you are taking sides"

Yes, the movie is overrated. And the ending in the courtroom is very much in the style of the Pelican Brief. Very few people seem to be capable of contributing anything original to the movie scene. I would rate it 6/10...not a complete failure, it has its interesting moments, but should only be watched if there are no other (better) alternatives.
