There are two primary coronary arteries, the right coronary artery (RCA) and the left main coronary artery (LMCA). Single coronary artery (SCA) is a rare congenital anomaly where only one coronary artery arises from a single coronary ostium to supply the entire heart. The etiology of SCA is uncertain. In some cases, SCA may lead to life threatening symptoms, including angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, syncope, cardiac arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, or sudden death.
