Excellent! It's so much better to know how these things actually work rather than being a mysterious black box.

Seeing a American Company Tikka Entusiast have some of there own Toys in GGS Stocks is nice to see 😜 Greetings from Germany Bavaria

We are huge GGS fans! They make an incredible product. The long, suppressed rifle on the wall with the GGS Ranger has taken 5 or 6 elk plus countless whitetail and mule deer. It's my favorite rifle.

@@mountaintacticalcompany i have only one Tikka on my own at the Moment it is a CTR in 223 20" Barrel and sits also in a Ranger Stock it is my Varmint Gun (Crows Foxes Badgers ....) i love this thing, but for normal Hunting and Driven Hunts i manly use my Straightpull Rifles with Handcocking (i have a Steel Action HS in 308 and a HM in 7x64 they are also more on the heavier side of Rifles im a big Guy and 1kg more or less doesnt bother me to carry around but a good semi Heavy Rifle is so much steadier and easier to shoot then a Lightweight)

That sounds awesome! We were recently sent the new BRX1 from Beretta. Straight pulls are not common in the US. I have no experience with them so I am excited to see how it runs.

@@mountaintacticalcompany i have shot the BRX1 in a Shooting Cinema 1 1/2 Years ago for Training (i dont use my own Rifles in these 😂 100 Shots in less then 30 Minutes nothing i want to do to my own Rifles 😉) they are good not perfect but good, Hunting in Europe espacially Germany differs in many ways from the US, Driven Hunts are really common in the Winter Month yes we could use Semiautos but only 3 Rounds in the Rifle for Hunting, with Boltguns you have no Restrictions on how many Rounds you have in the Magazin when you train with a Straightpull you can be nearly as Fast as with a Semiauto so they are the way to go, and we often hunt in the Woods from Treestands so shorter Ranges, shorter Barrels all with Supressors ... Stalking in the Alps with longer Shots .... last Hunting Year (1.May - 31.Jan) i have Shot 3 Red Stag 2 Red Doe, 4 Roe Bucks 3 Roe Doe and 38 Wild Boar in every Weight Class it was a good Year 😀 this Year i hope to get the chance again for a Chamois in the Austrian Alps last Year i had no Time to go there.

This is the only video with full tikka`s trigger action explanation. Understandable even without 3d graphics.

The trigger screw is actually the biggest weak point on a T3. Seriously regularly control your trigger screw to be tight. If it ever gets loose enough, the firing pin will slip trough, because under its pressure the trigger is moving downwards due to the loose screw and the gun will missfire while closing the bolt. But to be fair, this isnt really a big problem. I had the problem once years ago on my first T3 and since then I regularly control it and tighten it as much as possible. And I never had a problem with a loose screw again on any of my 5+ Tikkas. But a second screw, or a pin would be nice to have. Great vid guys!!

Do you think a little blue loctite would help? Thank you for the feedback!

The tac a1 trigger looks like it has an extra button that allows you to cycle the bolt with the safety on. I like this. Can i buy this trigger and attach it to a t3x lite? Maybe with a little relief cut in the stock for the extra button.

Great observation! The Tac-A1 trigger is an awesome 2 stage trigger with the handle “open on safe” feature. Unfortunately, I have never seen it for sale by itself. If anyone has a link to one, please post it! I want one!

Doesn't tikka have three different triggers across the line up? The standard (this) single stage, and the set trigger and the 2 stage trigger?
@mountaintacticalcompany

Yes! The Tac A1 and Super Varmint come with a two stage trigger
