I couldn’t find anyone testing FFX and FFXII on this device, so I took a chance and bought one. Can happily report that both games run near flawlessly at 2x resolution. Other games tested: KOF Neowave - plays, slow Outrun 2006 - unplayable Ridge Racer V - unplayable R-Type Final - plays well Shinobi - plays well The Thing - plays well

I will be more than happy to see a review of some first person shooter games like XIII on ps2. The one I try so far get me really bad analog control. It migth be something with the setting because when testing the analog stick on a android aplication, everything look fine. The only mod done to my rg405m is the 60hz screen frequency and analog stick calibration.

I likely won't get a chance to show 3DS in depth, but I did just check out those games. Touch works in Pokemon for that second screen, I didn't see it getting used in Rhythm Heaven? seems like a button press to sound game, and for Final Fantasy, seemed to work fine as a touchscreen. Bit difficult lol but if you blow up the second screen a bit, I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I forgot to add that I'm also using gammaOS and am using the same bios core. With max performance mode on, it's genuinely playable. Not great, but good enough
I just bought this system. I am brand new to the retro gaming handheld world. Everyone shows the ps2 games on their systems for testing . My question which I can’t seem to find good resources for is whee and how do I get these games onto my rg405m with aethersx2? Can anyone lead me in the right direction? Thank you . Great video
Hey, so unfortunately due to legal reasons we can't really share where to find roms. If you're familiar with reddit, there are subreddits dedicated to that and may help you find what you're looking for. Once you have them, just need to transfer them to your device or SD card and point Aethersx2 to that folder.
Can you explain how you got some of the larger file games to play as Fat32 won't accept games over 4gbs. Did you just chop them up or is there a better way?
I had requests up for PS2 games in my previous videos, no one requested that one unfortunately and isn't on my personal list, which most of these games are (JRPG's at least). The other two Hitman games run badly, so I'd assume SA would run badly as well, but not sure.

Likely not the best person to ask, but it is available on Android via Delta Touch (ex. www.reddit.com/r/EmulationOnAndroid/comments/tqfj67/testing_brutal_doom_source_port_mods_ive_got_for/ and play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opentouchgaming.deltatouch&hl=en_CA&gl=US) I don't know the full setup of how to get it all working. The only hesitation is that L2/R2 don't work in native Android games, so if that game needs triggers for anything or can't be remapped, it may not work.
I am unable to set individual custom settings for each game. If I change the emulator visual settings for one game, it sets those settings for all games. What am I doing wrong?
Certain of my games won't work as they can't detect the virtual memory card? Others do work and it has two virtual cards in there. Others can't detect but let me continue without saving (I use save state instead) - any advice to get others to work that can't get detect card and can't get past the menu for it?
@@JoeysRetroHandhelds my own - games like true crime etc need you to select a memory card. Is aesther settings there is two set up on there but keeps saying no memory card detected on game. Think it's worth just binning the game?
