@@OgbWinter Wait, the first place your mind goes to when discussing Anbernic is not being able to afford it? 😆 These are the cheapest devices around. You just told on yourself there buddy, LOL.
Have you guys fixed the joystick drivers? Seems about time that we got full analog joystick function, instead of the buggy directional joystick er have now. Just fix the kernel pls.
@@hoainamtruong5744 How did you do the update? My device has the old version stock os in the 1st SD card. Should I reset that card and download the 4GB file on the site in the same way? Or is there a different way? Additionally, I have many roms on my 2nd SD card. Will they be harmed? Or should I buy a new SD card and install on it? I'm so confused.
It's just me or I noticed while playing my RG35XX H, there's some stuttering going on? I was playing Sega Genesis Sonic 2, the fps counter shows steady 60 frames but there's a lag going on.
Hey Anbernic will you ever fix your joysticks so they dont behave like dpad? Like please give us an option in settings to set the joystick to have full 360 motion so it works well for N64 and Dreamcast.
Will there be an update for the RG Cube and RG556 that gives the option to toggle the snapping of the analog sticks between snapping (magnetizes analog input in 4 or 8 directions) and unsnapping (unmagnetizes the stick inputs)? By default, there is magnetization in analog stick inputs and it would be nice to unsnap it. I know there is a third-party fix for that but I would prefer if Anbernic can make an update for RG Cube and RG556 to include a toggle version in the Trigger Settings

rufus is your friend, my friend. the thing is, do you want the update tho. if you happy with as is, let be. only way to update is to flash the img file onto an sd card. 2nd sd card won't be harmed. no need for confusion.
@@nugudave I'm confused because the update is only 4GB. Will downloading this update and installing it with Rufus be enough?

Guys, should we manually do this Firmware updates? Is there really not a way on Anbernic like smart phones updates themselves automatically. I newly have a RG40XXV, i would like to update it but the tutorials seems overly complicated to my tech usage or familarity. I would be happy if someone has a shorter way or doing those updates. There are too much card formating-extracting zips consist of many GB etc which also takes a certain time.
Eh... their software of the H700 chipset is based on Black Seraph... they even used the black seraph Garlic OS of the old 35xx as an official update (end 2023) and on the H700 chipset they copied Black Seraph Garlic OS on their systems... This Anbernics OS (copy of Black Serpah) is great... a lot better than those Knulli custom software (tried that) that it's full of bugs and emulators are not running that great...
I recently purchased a RG35XX SP and have been using it primarily for racing games, which means the B button is the one I use the most. However, after just a few weeks of use, I’ve noticed that the B button is already recessed compared to the other buttons, almost as if it’s in a “pre-break” stage. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
I have seen something similar over on the internet, and it is because the buttons used on the XXSP are very pointy on the inside making a tiny hole in the dome switch inside. As a temporary solution you could try to add some tape on top of the dome switch 🤷♂️, although its not a permanent solution, its definitely better than not having anything. I recommend searching for a video tutorial on how to open the SP before you do it. Wish you the best :)
