Great interview. Although I still have many questions when it comes to this party but at least with the People's Mandate as well as this interview I'm able to tell what they stand for .
This man is speaking facts. Same issues bedevilling Zimbabwe next door. Until 2002 Anglo American was the biggest company in Zimbabwe till mugabe broke it up yes economy went down but now we own some of our resources and things strtaing improve BHP were given a licence for platinum in my home toen of Norton. Rhey were given 5 year tax break. They ran the machines 24 hours a day qnd dug so much platninum. After exactly 5 years they left. They claimed platinum had run out. Guess what Implala platinum is now.mining same place over 15 years now and doing very well. Meanwhile Australia is booming with zim platinum and resources eg Rio Tinto is Australian and mining in zimbabwe and Africa Resource nationilisation is a must. Lol at Qatar, Russia, China, Dubai etc all own their resources and look what they are doing
I think he speaks from the perspective of a disgruntled lover. My question is, so who prioritizes the Black man? Because Zuma did business with Indians, Rams does does business with White monopoly capitalists so who prioritizes the Black man?? Maybe Malema will...
So with the radical economic transformation such as nationalising of industries, promised by MK, how will they deal with sanctions because that will be a defite response from the powers that be?
He tried to deliver what he can but when he put the policies that will benefit black economic equality was sabotaged and oppresed by the DA and ANC Mafia captured by white capital. Hence he eventually left
The irony of the headline thumbnail does not surprise, "pre 1994 was better than today". History says otherwise as Indian were treated far better compared to Africans. Even Ghandi believed Indians were superior to Africans, and pleaded with the then white government to declare so. I have no doubt pre 1994 was better for his family but I doubt the treatment his Indian folk received was on par with the brutal treatment black Africans received in general.
This uncle is making up facts as he goes... just throw around some numbers and stuff and hopefuly people forget! haha. less tax? How? Richest CEOs? Prove it? Economy not driven by industry? Yusus... what a load of horsekak
Hey there we appreciate this feedback ! Must be noted that we are not journalists so unfortunately you won’t see “hard - hitting” interviews that could be seen as agenda driven. We are here to get to know a person and have something to take away for the listeners to be able to make their own decisions with the information they’ve heard. We not sure which party to vote for , so we are fortunate enough to get to know the people who are behind certain parties. Only a week to go ! Make sure you vote guys 🙏
While that is true, I don't think it's expected from them to get out hard-hitting or even revealing facts. The reason I watch their interviews over many other "hard-hitting or even revealing" interviews is because they ask all the things I am wondering about. They are your everyday guys who are interested in politics and want our country to be better but don't devote all their time to it because as much as it's important in all of our lives, they can't afford to solely focus on the politics. Many of us can't afford to focus solely on the politics and a lot of us generally don't care about a lot of the in-depth politics. Our goals are very simple... Better country with a better standard of living. They give us a lot of important insight into the guests they have (who ARE representing their party even if they claim to not be a "speaker" for their party like Mr Visvin Reddy), they give this information to us in a very light-hearted, easy to digest format and i'm pretty sure a lot of young people like myself appreciate this. Sometimes it's not about the hard-hitting or revealing interviews, sometimes it's just about being able to see if a person is genuine or are just putting up a front.
Absolutely - I couldn’t agree more. A light hearted way to digest the current political issues in our country. As a young female, I find this podcast the most insightful.
