Dude, the bolt in the back had me concerned I was going to have to take a whole lot of stuff apart to get it out! Thanks to your video, I saw that it just needed a little TLC with twisting it back and forth while angling it at the very end. Once that was out, easy-peasy! I bought a part off of Amazon for $23, so that was nice. Next up, is the passenger side CV axle; that part arrives this afternoon!
Just replaced it on my van last week. It wasn't difficult at all. The only mistake I made was not doing it on level ground, had the van parked at a slight inclined. That made the lining of the holes offset, and I had a little difficulty screwing the bolts, but eventually I did it. The results was worth it. Now the engine doesn't shake at startup or during shifting. Feels much smoother.
One question: Your van vibrates at 40 to 60 MPH while you're accelerating? i have a 2012 sienna and do that, so my mechanic tell me that i need to replace all the supports, so im not sure lf that...
@@yeudielortiz6944 My van doesn't shake while accelerating, but I need to replace this mount ASAP! As far any vehicle shaking in that range of speed, the first thing I'd check is wheel balance.
Great short instructional video. This mechanic gets straight to the point and how to remove and install an Anchor Torque Strut Mount on a Sienna without all the long winded BS of some of the other videos or pop up ads, etc. Thanks 👍
Thank you so much. I haven't spent much time working on my own car for a few years. Easy fix, but it is the little things. like getting the back bolt in and out. You made it easy to do this repair.
Thank you for the video. I need to replace mine in my car and I've been looking at the Anchor brand. They seem affordable vs OEM. Can you tell us how is this brand holding up please. Thank you
@TheEtixShow does it matter I buy the original part from Toyota or it s ok to buy an after market. Does the after market part effect the performance of the car? I have sienna 2006 190 km
Ok, from past experience, you dont have to purchase part from Toyota. I purchased mine from O’Reilleys Auto parts. It works awesome. Do not purchase from Amazon… it really cheap, wont last long.. max 1 month!!! Buying the part from O’reilleys wont affect the performance at all. Good Luck and thanks for asking your questions, hopefully i answered them all for you!!!!
I have 2011 seinna when i drive back or forward engine does move so is it the only part i need to change to prevent engine move or is there more than one mount
There is more but you need to first examine them to see if they are worn out. Start by replacing the top one. If motor continues to move like you explained do the others
