Anchor winch up/down not working

Was hoping you would open it up. Waiting on one now for a Customer. Would go down, but not Up. Waiting on Replacement, Owner preferred Up, not down, so I Reversed wires that go to the Motor. Now it will Pull up, but not do down. When I remove the old, am sure one of the coils of the Contactor is open. Would be nice if the Coil was Replaceable. Will find out. Stratmando

Only thing worse than windlass not going down, is not going up.
