Well.....I’m running out of things to say.....LOL. What a year you’re having! I know how good it feels when it all comes together for a day like this one....big congrats!
Man, two videos in one weekend for night shift. Thx for helping me get thru the weekend. What an awesome video and different cats I love the tank. I hope you have a good week Justin. Can't wait for the next video. Tight lines man.
Great video Justin. Love the way you you worked both cameras around the 11:42/3 mark. Fishing before a front has always been one of my favorite times to be on the water as it seems the fish feed heavily. Keep up the good work. Be safe.
Justin, you’re living the dream! Great fish my friend. Been looking for an affordable catfish reel lately, so I bought one from the gear list in your description... Keep pullin in the big ones!!
What a way to start and end a video with some flatheads and to boot a couple nice blues in the middle. But from what you said it was a pretty nice day over all. Great video Justin 👊🏻
Dang, you're pulling in flatheads every episode lately, awesome! They're rare in my area, but I hope to catch one some day. Love seeing you bring them in. Thanks!
Man it sure is good to see someone getting the genuine enjoyment that only fishing can bring. And doin things the right way also! Great video justin, you FLAT put it on em! Pun intended 😂
I really really enjoyed this video. Wow, superb, you had a fantastic day. As to you being patient it has paid dividends to you. Here in the UK I have fished the same fishing hole or peg (as they are known here) for 10 hours and caught several variety of fish, then there has been a lull in the catching then i have caught one after another after another. Great fun. Bring on the next instalment.....
Another fun video! Love those flatheads! I've been catching flatys on cut bait for a long time. About 2 to 1 against live bait. Bringing in those tanks keeps you in shape dosen't it? You could post every day of the week and I'd never get tired of watching you catch cats! Keep them coming!
Thanks! I wish I had the time to do a video everyday. I’m not sure how some of these RU-vidr people do it and still find time for regular life stuff lol.
Man your videos are Awsome. I can honestly say that I can't wait to get out and try some of your methods very informative videos keep on slamming those big ones man.
Your name should be mr consistent for sure brotha damn i wish i could fish with you just for 1 day and learn as much asi could you defintely got it mastered
Wow what a memory, you have no idea how much I look forward to all your videos I'm partially disabled and you give me the opportunity to go out fishing with you every week Thank you again.@@KayakCatfish
Your videos are awesome. If you are looking to teach your viewers like myself I have a few suggestions. How deep are you fishing? What do you look for on your depth finder to decide where to fish? What time of the day are each of your catches. You mentioned you had your baits suspended, how far are you away from the bottom? I apologize if all these answers are on your website already, I just started watching your channel.
I came across your videos last year and I have been hooked ever since..im currently looking for a kayak to purchase so I can try my hand at it..i live in Tulsa ok so I don't have a deep river to troll around on but there all plenty of deep lakes..cant wait!! Thanks for the videos
@@KayakCatfish thanks brother I know I will enjoy it once I get one and I got to tell you my girlfriend loves you too she likes the way you laugh LOL she does for real enjoy watching your videos with me too
@@KayakCatfish I was hoping you weren't going to take offense to that LOL because she didn't mean it in that way she just gets a kick out of it and is amazed at the size of some of those Blues you catch on that kayak she'll think and swear to God it's about to tip your kayak over she gets all scared it's quite funny anyways Keep On Keepin On brother and good luck as always
I sure enjoy watching you video. Order some of your rods and reels you recommended. Are you anchored in the back and front of your boat are just one end?
Running 3 rods like that, do you ever get tangled up in your other lines? I have been doing a lot of catfish fishing from a bank lately, and doing well, but want to take the yak out and give it a try. Thank you!
Man you had a bang up day!! So many Flatheads and then that really nice Blue that took your drag for a spin. What was the length on that largest Blue? Fish On!!
Haha!!! Catching a bunch of fish does make an arm tired after awhile lol. The motor is infinitely adjustable so my range varies depending on my speed. At full throttle which is 5 to 5.2mph depending on conditions, my range is about 5 miles. If I cut it back to 4.5mph, my range is about 10 miles of battery life. Most days I stay within about 3 mile radius of the launch so I never run out of battery life.
Bro I'm from Chattanooga you should take me along with you sometime I don't have a very good kayak but it's a kayak I want to catch massive fish like that I've never caught one over 10 lb
I fish a variety of structures depending on the time of year. Right now, I am focusing on creek mouths and points. As we get on into summer, I’ll focus more on ledges, humps, and holes.
When fishing in slack water, I just use a 10lb dumbbell. In current, I use a 4lb slip ring anchor with a section of chain. Check out my how to anchor a kayak video to see that setup.
@@KayakCatfish ok. I'll check his RU-vid channels out. Could you do a video of testing out chicken gizzard and liver and giving my name a shout out, lol. I know you did a test on live bait vs cut bait. Perhaps a test on gizzard and liver, lol?
Heres the truth with cut vs live for flatheads. A flathead is an ambush predator atracted by vibration and smell. As long as the current is strong and that cut bait is moving a flathead will hit it especially in the spring. Cut does not work in lakes with no currant and will go after big live bait first. Below dams cut is always better than live.
@@KayakCatfish really that is crazy. In all the lakes here you have to use live or it's. Bust but I. Rivers especially below dams the flatheads hit cut first. I asked a biolgest and he said they will take cut as long as it's in front of them or flows by them. Live attracts them wen your night fishing the banks wen they are roaming for sunfish. It must be a population difference . That's is crazy to catch flatheads on cut bait in still water. Smaller ones are all I honestly ever caught in cut bait. But I wouldn't change it if cuts working for you. Those flats are not as easy to do videos on I bet? They are much more elusive than blues.
Alright folks.. I like mr. Tightwads videos so bad.. Im will to put up 20 dollars of my own money to see him use some jumbo Goldfish. Lol. That ive been asking for a hundred years.. Anyone wanma help me fund the goldfish.. Id say we need bout 15 goldfish bout half the size of your hand
Hahaha!!!! I promise I will make that video. Just let me wait until the summer months when I have more time in case it doesn’t work. Right now, I have two days per week to fish so there is no safety net. I have to catch fish every trip or miss a publish date.
