Tori James Same as Will Ferrell, every film in the gag reels he makes like five or six different jokes in one take and they just pick out the most ball bustingly hilarious of em I think, real talents in this film regardless of whether people think it's just random bollocks.
I still remember vividly being on a flight to Thailand and seeing the movie anchorman for the first time ever. I literally started crying as I was laughing so hard. I even tried to switch channels to tone it down but the darn right ridiculous sketches just kept absolutely making me shake with laughter. The great thing about it is that clearly others were watching the movie at the same time and explosions of laughter reverberated around the plane. I had no idea that the movie was going to be such comedy gold and getting caught unaware like that was one of the best film experiences of my life.
My sister and I saw it at the theater when we were kids. At school everyone was talking about Napoleon Dynamite, but we were the first ones is school to be quoting Anchorman
My guess is they couldn't do it without laughing so they just had to cut it. I've heard before that movies like this, with a lot of improv, they just can't get certain scenes done because the jokes are too funny and it's impossible to get a take w/o people laughing.
Paul Rudd actually spoke about this in a interview a few years back.. he said that it was will just riffing off the dome and it was so bad with carrell especially that he was damn near keeled over not breathing 😂

How movies like this EVER get past filming is beyond me the lines are just so ridiculously absurd or funny that I don't know how they can ever keep it together when filming XD Will Ferrel's lines sound like they are all improvised and anyone who has to be in the same scene with him keeping it together is outstanding lol.

+Philip Arbon exactly. Get Hard didn't get very good reviews but I laughed my ass off in the theater. People are already talking shit about Fifty Shades Of Black. I think it looks hilarious. People think everything needs be "smart" for it to be comedy. I remember when we all could just laugh at Borat without thinking about it too much
