The clone won't have any memories of the previous life. The Egyptians removed and discarded the brain since it was deemed as not important. One ironic thing would be that if you did resurrect the dead and they were living peacefully in their afterlife and to be suddenly ripped back into the world of the living.

True! Cloning is just making a bunch of TWINS! They could clone a dozen King Tut’s & each one would be just as individual a person as the one cloned before or after it. You know that the technique of rehydration isn’t going to be allowed on King Tut as it would destroy the mummy, unless they freeze it, it would begin to decompose. Moreover, if mummies were supposed to be re-animated, with what brain? The part removed after being sort of liquidated, in order to extract the brain through the nose and then stored like that in a canopic jar? How does decomposed mush retain memories? I don’t recall the interior parts removed and stored as being “mummified”. Were they? Even so, in the real world, a scrambled brain isn’t in the best condition to remember anything.

Interesting theory , but even king Tut can be somehow cloned that would not gain access to his memories and he would be only partial the person from thousands of years ago .My clone would , in principle , would be not different from his .
