Ancient mystery theorists, like myself, say that the simplest explanation is most likely. The people of that time mined some ore from a place with a finite amount of the metal ratio found in the ingots plus surrounding earth that contained a large amount of zinc oxide. Smelting that would have created the metal ratios found in those undersea ingots. Once that mine was played out they couldn't make any more of this wondrous alloy because they didn't know how to do it. The ingots don't look like they are highly processed or molded in any way and seem in keeping with "bronze age" abilities that we are already aware of.

Atlantis is likely in the Eye of the Sahara. Check it out Bright Insight's video on it. There's probably loads of artifacts buried beneath those sands, as well as thousands of stone "cannon balls".

If you are talking about The Richat Structure there is no doubt in my mind that this area was constructed and is not a natural formation. The fact that it matches Plato's description of Atlantis perfectly is just icing on the cake.

Brass was known to mankind since 5th millenium BC, wtf are the guys talking ? The composition of lead, iron and some nickel can be explained by bad ore refining, that seems much more likely since they only had crude methods. edit: they said metal made of copper and zinc mainly, so its brass.
@@deadpool6072 yes generally old brass and bronze contain many impurities depending on where the ore was gathered. If there was an anamalous metal then they should have said it.

This was debunked with a simple google search: Copper + Zinc + metal. Instantly found the history of brass and then : Brass making in the Roman world. Lol, that ship was Roman, sooo???
Hmm, thats not correct. They never actually say the ship is Roman. They instantly refer to Atlantis. And Since Atlantis is mentioned for the first time in the works of Plato in Greece who lived hunderds of years before the romans the time frames do not match up. Als Plato says in his work that Atlantis already got destroyed, so we would be talking about 1000 years, if not more, before the romans. Assuming it is not a Roman ship, which is higly possible since there where so many mediteranian empires before the Romans.
One piece of evidence these researchers don’t take into consideration is that perhaps they aren’t the same metals. Just because the metal ingots found in Italy have two elements in common with Orichalcum, the metal Plato describes in his writings, doesn’t confirm they are the same but these pseudoarcheologists don’t even consider the idea. They also believe people didn’t have the technology to make this composition back then, they credit Poseidon’s son Cadmus. The story suggests that Cadmus came down from Olympus and gifted the Atlantians this special metal. They assume Gods were the ones to provide this metal because the thought of humans doing it was outrageous. They also completely ignore the fact that this metal could’ve come from anywhere, there is no guarantee that it stayed in this same place for 2,600 years or that it even came from Atlantis. Overall, it seems like these “archeologists” pick and choose what they want to consider evidence in order to prove their story. I think Occam’s Razor would say that, in this situation, the simpler explanation is most likely correct. Considering every piece of evidence would debunk the theory of Gods and Atlantis existing and suggest that these metal ingots were most likely made by humans.
History channel sells scientists short all the time. Just like Discovery channel they ask questions and then edit the answers out of context to get the right dialogue they want out of programmes like this for ultra dramatic impact. Atlantis was in the Richat Structure, aka the Eye of the Sahara. The Saharan landscape looked completely different back then and there was freshwater in the ring basins.
I remember watching an episode of Transformers Cybertron that had a ship called Atlantis. In the episode one of the characters tell Vector Prime about a city that sunk to the ocean but was technologically advanced. But instead of this one being in the water as an island, it was more of a floating city until something made it crash in to the water and sink to the bottom of the ocean floor. Odd but interesting theory if Atlantis was actually a ship and not a city.
Zinc and copper are two huge parts in circuits. Put a zinc nail in one end of a potato and a copper penny in the other end. Read them with a voltmeter you will get almost 1 volt from a single potato

Many people are open to out worldly explanations, therefore are easily influenced into believing something with little real verifications. The video contains many theories as to how the metal got to its location and many of those theories hold questions regarding their reliability, possibility, and probability. An example is the theory that Atlantis was thought of as a civilization full of technological advances and never-before seen power. A second theory states that “it had come from the heavens”, and “that it had come from the sky.” Although some of these theories are written in ancient diaries and are believably possible, their probability, however, is very unlikely and up for debate. Based on Occams Razor, we can find ways to come up with logical explanations based on facts and observation, in contrast to mythical belief and insufficient confirmations. The video is also full of unknown or unknowable facts, making their premises questionable. The theories presented are cases of false dilemmas and/or “straw man”, where we are left to assume the answer based on a lack of evidence and logical proof of the actual remains of this “lost” city. Under some circumstances, the statements in the video were factual. An example is when they examined the metal alloy more in depth and were able to prove the specifics of its contents. This examination was a verifiable observation under controlled conditions, therefore deeming it a scientific observation. These were some of the things I thought needed some clearing up or lack relevant information to support certain hypotheses. The thing so special about this metal is it will not tarnish. Also, cylinders of the pharoah (Egyptian healing rods/wands of Horus) are made of this exact combination of zinc and copper Copper turns teal, silver tarnishes. Gold does not tarnish. A metal that does not tarnish could be used in such a temple for much longer than oxidized metals which would become toxic that green dust of copper would disintegrate and become toxic
For those that do not know.... copper and tin makes brass..... they found brass. Theres nothing spectacular about a potentially bronze age people making brass.... The Bronze Age existed from 3300 BC to about 1000 BC.... what do you need to make bronze? Essentially brass....
I think the lost city of Atlantis is the eye of the Sahara and was the capital of the empire or Atlas which reigned across the entire Northern African continent and into Asia and Southern Europe which was green and fertile at the time of 9600 BC. The Empire ultimately “became corrupted and ceased to wear its prosperity in moderation” Plato. And was perceived to have been destroyed by the wrath of god and that is why they have tried to cover it up since then.
There is actually no historical or archaeological data/proof that supports the idea that Atlantis existed. This is simply another incident of diffusionism; it is believed by many that ancient civilizations did not have the intelligence or ability to produce advanced artifacts and structures (such as the pyramids) so they say it must have come from one “master” or mother civilization such as Atlantis.
Why do they suggest it's some mysterious metal with unknown electrical properties. Copper and Zinc alloys goes by the trade name Brass. A common metal we know alot about. Just call those mysterious Ingots Brass, please.

@@1SGCarter I think we can’t put all pieces to the puzzle and say exactly what happen, I don’t think they did it on a snap of a finger just overtime they were able to really make something out of nothing, kinda like when you have your back against the wall and forced to push through, because it seems like their backs were against the wall all the time. That being said I don’t completely think aliens or more advanced civilizations are fake tho. In this big world we can’t be the only living things.
