(The Harba de Moshe reminds me of when I was a young witch just starting out, and I went around collecting and creating as many spells as possible, so as to become sort of a human Swiss-army knife... good times!)

My copy was in Latin and not Hebrew. To make the actual sword, you have to be skilled in various arts. It is very detailed and specific, and not easy to do. Angelic Magic is interesting. This channel is worth watching.

I'm Muslim and have read a couple of Islamic magic books -Ghāyat al-Ḥakīm , Shams al-Ma'arif- in the original Arabic text. It's interesting there are quite a few similarities. For example, diet change and staying pure. Another is the gibberish that looks like someone mashed the keyboard. That weird writing is thought to be the names and incantations of jinn, perhaps in their own language.

I so enjoy your videos. I LOVE your quirky sense of humor. I also highly appreciate how you present the information. I never feel as though your video is pressing the creator's own religion, which many on RU-vid do. I was raised as a Christian, so the vast preponderance of information about the Jewish religion is unknown to me. That is why I am here. I have learned so very much here. I appreciate that you present information on not only Judaism but other religions as well. One of the things I really like is that you do not present a "I have all worthwhile knowledge" attitude. You freely admit when you do not possess certain information, when you've been unable to locate certain sources and such. Personally, such an attitude in someone from whom I seek knowledge actually makes me trust their information more. I wish you the very best of luck with your channel. Please keep them coming.

I've heard of naphtha!! It's supposed to be flammable, as far as I know, and I vaguely remember a Roman general writing about encountering it in a weaponized form to destroy armor and weapons. I'm not sure what would be special about white naphtha, it sounds fascinating

I'm still on my quest to understand the worldview behind magic and getting ever closer, thanks to you. I was wondering: As the expert, would you think that the authors of this book would say that the language is critical to making the spell work? So if I worked with a translation, would they surmise that the effects wouldn't come to pass? The question of language seems to be important, some grimoires work with ancient-ish gibberish, others use plain text. Is there a theory why, for instance, a demon or angel might not listen to you depending on the language used? Also, is there an assumption that if a spell does not show effect, other forces (such as other magic or the intervention of a spirit or deity) have blocked it or is the caster suspected to have made a mistake?
