Ancient Arts is a lys for me, they are amazing. Caroline the owner is the most knowledgeable person I know regarding yarn and sheep breeds. She travels to the mills and designs the bases with the mill owners. I have the Syrah by moonlight in a sock yarn and it is dark like the picture, I think the base you got is lightening the colour. I want all the cat and dog colours!

New yarn company? Yes please! Wow that's some absolutely gorgeous yarn! I think my favorite would be the pear green one. 2nd would be the dark purple (the one that looks black) one. Growing up we had a Mulberry Tree in our yard and that color reminds me of the mulberries. They're such a dark purple they look black. But the true color came out when we'd step on them barefoot 😂 Ty Crystal! 💞 💞 💞

Thanks Crystal for showing us new yarn. I got my silk, wool yarn from Purl Soho today, it's made in Italy. I'll put it aside till I get the silk mohair. Love the colors of the yarn so pretty, I like brighter colors. Oh wow that red is gorgeous and cashmere with wool and silk will be so soft and luxurious. That is not a bad price for yarn with that blend Hedgehog Fibers marino wool is $35 dollars a hank. I'm disappointed with the brioche scarf I'm knitting, to wide. I cast on 40 stitches, I should have only done 30. I'll finish it but, it is not going to be long enough to fold in half to put through loop. It's too think at that width. Oh well live and learn. The other scarf I made with cables with Hedgehog fibers was only 36 stitches. You've outdone yourself with that Dusty Rose, so pretty. Top Tutorial would be great, and color is perfect for your daughter. Get more of that wool cashmere, silk yarn in another color. That was the best yarn along with the Dusty Rose.

Crystal, it was great to hear the Isle of Man mentioned cos I live here! Manx Loaghtan (pronounced lockton). The wool from these sheep is very hard wearing and isn’t usually dyed unless it’s combined with other fibers.

The brown tabby was my pick of the bunch, colourwise. I'd splurge and get the Fioritura if I were to make a cardigan because if I didn't, I'd be thinking of it every time I wore the cardigan made with the original merino choice. And that wouldn't be fair to the merino yarn, lol

I would make a vest out of that Breeze color wool.
