The Aussie Rickshaw Wallahs - Episode 53
Rolling on from the last episode we continue our guided exploration of the Ancient town of Hampi. First up, the Underground Shiva Temple, otherwise known as Prasanna Virupaksha Temple, built for King and set underground to escape the harsh summer heat, it should also carry the nickname of The Bat Cave. Next we head over to the spacious grounds of the grand Elephant Stables, a magnificent structure to say the least. With the elephant keepers guesthouse an amazing structure in its own right. Lastly I give a brief rundown on the Queens two palaces located next to each other, with her summer palace in particular, showcasing some very impressive 15th Century Ingenuity.
