since fusion lets you burn resources from the hand (or deck if you get golem on the field), I like to use the rest of the board for link plays, since gears lack good protection, it's nice to work your way up to apollousa if you can while also being able to fire off your ballista combo

I run VFD, Dingirsu, and Verte for my ancient gears deck. This is the first time I have seen someone playing numeron dragon in them. Still the deck is interesting. I wanna try that strategy out when I pull numeron dragon.
