I have a story where my enemy is pretending to be an egyptian goddess named "Nenet, the goddess of wealth and beauty" and she claims that her brother was Seth who tricked her into stealing her mother's golden staff, and she claims that her mother goddess was Hathor and that her father god was Thoth. Of course, all of that is just part of her trick.

Your conclution is the right definition of the chaos. By my opinion, this Order against the Chaos is the symbolic representation of the conflict between Horus and Seth in the ancient egyptian pantheon.

The looking of Seth is more about a fictional animal, but he is related mostly to donkeys, scorpions or hippos, those last ones related to danger and violence
In some texts he is referred to as a black boar (taking Horus eye) but also a shape shifter and the other animals mentioned. The cool thing is he seems to have been a deity since the Naqada I culture which predates the ancient egyptian dynasties by +/- 1000 years! Even back then he had his unique face and tail.
