That note that your mom wrote you was very touching. It's obvious that you were a nice and compassionate kid and I'm glad to see you're still a very awesome person. I know that you'll probably get more awesome as time goes by as well :D Things about the past usually spark no intrest to me but I watched this whole video and loved it. Thanks for the upload Tim!
Awesome video, Tim! Don't think for a second that this isn't interesting to us. I watched the whole video, and I'm actually pretty sad it's over. We love hearing more about our favorite LP'er!!!
Tim, alot of the stuff that you wrote about is stuff i'm thinking about at 15. Thanks for doing this, i know it's cheesy but, this stuff really does helps when very few other things do.
This was awesome Tim. I watched the whole thing. Very interesting and very fascinating. If this thing was three hours long, I would of watch every second.
Gotta love the warm feeling you get watching your vlogs. Man, I'm speechless... Thank you so much Tim, because these videos are memories themselves. I almost want to just start it over and rewatch it, because it was so gratifying.
Don't find it interesting? I love your videos and your commentary, but the thing that really gets to me is when you take the time and share your life with us. I love your reactions to the pictures, letters, and articles. You telling stories is the best part :).
Wow. What an interesting look into your childhood. I wish my parents kept some sort of records of what I did when I was younger. I do remember a lot of things but memories are not a record... they're just an interpretation. Haha, all this talk of childhoods has brought up some memories of my own. Like when I saved my brother from a hail storm, or the time I got carpet burn from jumping off the couch. Damn. Good stuff. I also remember every major dream I've had since I was 4. :)
It's not the things that you're reading here that I found interesting, it's more that I'm fascinated by your discovery of them, and I enjoy seeing your reactions and emotions that go along with said discoveries.
I wish our report cards were still like that. When I see yours (and my mom's) report cards, they actually look like cards and a part of your life. We have sheets now that only tell us our Letter grade, absences, and our GPA. Its so cool seeing the old style report cards.
That teenage picture kinda made you look like one of those Manning brothers, sorta. Maybe I'm just seeing things. Y'know, ever since I started watching your work, I gotta say, you strike me as one of those guys that may just be able to talk about anything in some sort of philosophical light. Great to let us take a further peek back into your life, that's what makes you a big favourite to a lot of people around here.
Quite interesting hearing and seeing all that stuff, NCS. I also love seeing some of the things you've gotten, hung up on your walls: Ex: The KH2 poster on the door there.
D'awwwww, Tim!!! That letter from your mom and your reaction to it almost made me cry! It's so funny how some things about people just never change throughout their whole life, huh? *sigh* That was fun. I need to take a dump now. Love you, bye! XD
Man this video was fascinating to me. Especially your articles. I loved them. Plus listening to you reading your report cards was hilarious XD 9:29 Time with good toilet habits? That doesn't sound right lol. Yeah your right 1981 was an awesome year for music. The entire 1980s was the best in terms of music. Unfortunately I wasn't alive during the 80s but it's pretty much the only music I listen to. Well I listen to all classic music actualy. I listen to music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
Tims prairie doggin'! I stayed through this whole video, and you didn't lose my attention once Tim. Very interesting life you have. Oh... also, I have that same printer... not that anyone cares...
Your sister is 5 yrs older than me then. I was born September 11, 1986. I don't know why I think that is so interesting, lol. Anyways, keep up the awesome LP's, I'm still watching your Super Mario Galaxy 2 LP, I'm just kinda waiting for you to completely do all the Green Stars before I finish watching it, then I play on watching your FFX LP.
Its a funny feeling, nostalgia. Everything that I remember (or try to remember) makes life feel surreal, or whatever surreal would feel like. Like a dream, like all the decisions made until now brought you where you are. Take a fresh breath of clean air, and continue on, but keep the memories close.
I used to have a whole bunch of Baby stuff like that, but wen I was in my later teens I actually got hold off the stuff and burned it all, all I have left now Is a Stamp collection, I'm actually really sad I dont have that now, but that was awesome and it is amazing your openly sharing such information to people freely
watching this has made me want to find out more about what i was like when i was younger and such, i may only be 19 now but i dont remember very much from primary school really, especially not grades or anything like that, was too young to care i guess haha thanks for sharing this with us though tim :)
@BreakingNCS that teenage photo looked just like ME!! my school's so pushy, im fine with C grades, but my school is always saying "A! YOU NEED AN A!" and its stupid, 'cause a C is a pass, y'know, im even happy with D's. Your thing about happiness is so right, even if i dont believe in God. Is that a Kingdom Hearts poster? The Santa thing makes sense, but i still wonder how much he gets payed XD Bunsky...the best name ever! gotta love pudding! saw the full 25 mins, and loved it. Thanks Tim!
awwwww that baby sutf was sooooo cute :DDDD I find baby sutff really fun to hear. I wish I had something like that but I have dvd of my baby years :D Now I wanna watch them... hmmmm I think I remember learn braille when I ws 3 and my APE class when I was in first grade. Really good tmies. This vid was sooo fun to watch and I can't wait til you have your sis on your lp vids ;D
19:15 and 23:52 Are you kidding? I'm just as fascinated as you are. Plus this really makes me want to read anything my parents might have written about me when I was a baby.
It was cool to see and hear some of your past, all those papers you were in..I knew you were awesome back then, even the essays were cool, they were kinda deep imo, lol all the toilet paper started to run out the minute you developed toilet habits ^-^
D'awww Baby TIM, doesn't that make you SO HAPPY!? PS: At around 16:39 he looks like an English reader or some script director with his scarf and his nose and paper. It makes him look more epic.
@JoeWaffl3s I have one in my tutorials playlist, but it's a pretty quirky setup that was designed to be portable for my needs since I can't use a capture card, but I still wanted to capture games directly. It uses two camcorders to run it. Basically one camcorder records the TV through use of some splitter cables and a coupler, while the other records my voice through a video then I extract the audio later to overlay on the game footage and sync it up.
All this bright light makes your place look kinda like a holyplace ^_^'' I...don't have any milestones written down...so it was fascinating to see how this all looks like.
OMG I never knew you were in Catholic School. Dude I never would've imagine you being in a school like that. I thought it you were in a School with alot of Drama and Fights and Stuff like that. No wonder why you're such a nice guy.
Tim I know none of these people here can say this, but I realize why I appreciate your views about crap and your videos... We share the same birthday. April 5th 1988 :)
Also, dude. No worries about your grades. I literally got all F's in 6th grade and 8th grade. I don't know how I managed to get past without being sent back a grade. I'm not stupid, I just didn't believe in homework... Just like you. Fuckin' crazy, excuse my language, but every time you bring up something about yourself and your past it sounds more and more like my childhood and my personality. Scary weird.
I don't believe in homework either. Every day I come home, I go IN THE BATHROOM, but then I realize the cats were SO HAPPY that they pooped all over the floor and I'd use up so much that I'd have to get some more toilet paper. It just gets so annoying. Sometimes I even.... I don't know, when I come home I just want to relax and play some games or something.
@ShadowSargent I had similar classes... He went to a Christian school I believe. As did I, up until the 3rd grade. Although I don't think they put a grade on religion in my school, they wanted to make it fun. Getting shitty grades is never fun.
Oh hey, you went to school in Jackson County, Georgia? I went to school in Jackson County, Kentucky. I guess that's actually not much of a connection, but eh, it caught my attention.
"That dump is raging to come out now" spoken on january 5th 2011 by Timothy Bishop. This should go next to "the baby's first word was doggy" february 7th 1977.
NCS: Hey that kinda looks like mom! Me: Oh my gosh how much worse can this geheheheeeeet?! (LOL) NCS: Thank goodness for no school today! Me: .... *lip twitch* BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAA
@MrStarfoxkojiro most likely because back then he had to repost videos with copyrighted music with other music to keep him free of strikes, and now he is a partner because of it. That part was one of the reposts, thats why :)
True but doesn't everyone have a story that is good in their own right? Sure it might start off the same but you never know. Eg, I didn't have both parents growing up, just my mother and I'm lucky to have her still. 1981, huh? Ironically that's the year Natalie was born (a singer I adore who you've never heard of), so indeed it was a good year in music. :P j/k It's good to have memories like these so you can look back on them later. You're lucky, I wish I could have something like this.
