Wrong and wrong.. Rama and Krishna are not mentioned in the earliest Mandalas which mainly contain the Rshis thoughts and descriptions of nature... Krishna references added to the Vedas later. Eg. The Purusha Sukta

Hello discovered that the earth is spherical and its rotation in its axis in a day. But the circumference of earth was for first measured by the Eratosthenese in the second century BC.

You forgot to mention about The Surya Siddhanta. It is more than 7000 years old scripture. It has the astronomical calculation along with geometry and trigonometry. It is astonising. The mahabharata has more than 2000 shlokas where time is mentioned as celestial positions. How did you consider Al-Biruni's comment as standard.

Bhagavatam didn't list dasa avataras in chronological order. There are main 10 avatars and other amsa (partial) avatars, all mixed in the list given above. Remember dasa avatara stotra in ashtapadi of Jayadeva. Here, avataras are listed in the order of matsya, kutam, etc. May be, in some puranas also. I don't know.

Out of 6 Vedic philosophies, 4 are atheistic originally -Sankhya, Vaiseshika, Yoga and Nyaya. Later gods were added. Anyway, they don't have any creator god or supreme entity as in Vedanta(Bramhan). Jainism and Buddhism believe in no god originally(later Buddha was made a god, Bodhisatvas came, Jinas were worshipped as gods, etc)
@@grapeshottso you are familiar with bodhisattva. Good. Vishnu, Brahma and Siva are the padmapani forms of the avalokateshwar bodhisattva in the Vajrayana sect of Buddhism. As far as the vedas are concerned, there is no written evidence before the 15th century. All the brahmanical scriptures are written in classical sanskrit. The script is Dev nagri which started in the 7-8th century and completed in the 10th century. Pali/Pakit and Dham script is Buddhist. So it becomes difficult to believe of ancient Indian science when evidence for the same is not provided.

Absolutely right...only Krishna is mentioned in the Chandogya Upanishad describing him as Devaki putra and his guru Gora Angirasa..this Upanishad was composed around 9th BC ..but that was probably a later addition because it was much later that Krishna became a popular figure in Indian literature and folklore after his integration in Brahmin religion..

I'm a follower of Jesus and I have to say that you could remove all references to Hinduism in your conversation and replace them with Christian and biblical references and still say the same things. Please do not mixup vedas and puranas. They are seperate bodies of literature and are not interchangable...Puranas have Truths, half truths, erros, blunders and eveything in between. What I just read about Al Baruni’s comments, science also developed just like the precursor to Darwin’s theory from the ten avatars that the ancient Hindus came up with. Technology was not developed during those early days of science! The ancients discovered what they thought was enough for their use. Think of all the Vedic literature which were available; most of it came pure logic and early science that came from astronomy, astrology, mathematics, physics,chemistry, early medicine, etc. from which scientists in the west deciphered and developed science as we know today!
Vishnu avatar are more close to development stages of human embryo by each month. Month 1: the semen flows like fish and seeds the egg! Month 2: In the second month, bones are developed, the outer shell of turtles is actually made of bone! Month 3: Facial features start to form, the face at this stage looks like pig as all features are still not fully formed! Month 4: half lion half human, at this stage nails and dental alveolus are developed! Month 5: By end of month 5, baby is fully formed including brain. Vamana depicts that by 5th month it is fully formed human but only smaller in size! Incidentally the growth of embryo is like blue print of evolution of life itself! The remaining avatars from 6th onwards are about building personality to live in human society, they basically depict different virtues like truth, sacrifice, dharma yuddha etc

To make such a comparison is to neither know your mythology nor the theory of evolution by natural selection. Matsya Avatar first manifests as a small fish seeking Manu’s protection. So when Matsya appears, man is already present. So your claim goes poof. Kurma Avatar does not even take place on earth but in some fantasy world. When Kurma appears, humans or humanoids are already present as Devas and Asuras fighting over Amrit or Ambrosia. And don’t forget, there is also a snake, a reptile already present and used as a rope to churn the ocean. So your claim falls flat again. If you knew some basic stuff on gravity you would know that any creature with sufficient mass to lift the earth will, in the earth’s proximity cause itself and the earth to disintegrate due to tidal effects. So Varaha just won’t work out for you. But most important, if you perceive evolution as a ladder, which it isn’t, then by your logic Rama should be an improvement on Parashurama and Krishna an improvement on Rama. Vedas and Shiv Puran or Vishnu Puran are different books. Btw Vishnu Puran doesn't describe evolution. It is just a story which we are trying to describe in present age and press modern ideas on prehistoric beliefs. Life on earth didn't start with fish but single cell beings which no Vishnu Puran or Vedas have ever described.

That’s what I’ve been telling people we can’t just blindly follow certain practices. only if we had ever built a solid or concrete civilization would’ve never succumb to Mughals or Britishers. Besides, Ramayana and Mahabharata appear in the Medieval times in crude form with their "final" form in the 19th century. There are no manuscripts beyond 14th century for any of the "religious" works.

The Rama and Krishna we worship as human gods are the creation of Brahman theology.. these characters are based on historical personalities who lived in the first millenium BC... Krishna is mentioned in Jain literature as the cousin of Neminath who was a historical personality and one of the Tirthankas in the Jain lineage a few centuries before Mahavir who lived in the same century as Gautam Buddha.. Both epics were composed during first millenium BC.. the historical Krishna was a tribal chief and military hero of the Yadavas in Mathura who was raised to god status after his death and later merged with four other deities including Vasudeva of the Vrishni clan and Gopala of the Abhira community during the following centuries till the early centuries AD.. After his adoption by the Brahman elite as an avtaar of Vishnu he was integrated into the Mahabharata as and subsequently propulsed as the world teacher in the Bhagavad Gita.. proposing a universal religion based on a synthesis of Vedanta, Yoga and Sankhya systems.. While the historical Rama was most probably a king from Ayodhya who was very popular and deified after his death and thereby accepted as one of the avtaars of Vishnu by the Brahmans..

You try to put too much of information in very little time. I wanted to know the beginning if the the earth and the placement of food and fodder for animals and human. Actually this is not true. The first vishnu avatara is actually varaha. Pls refer to bhagavata. Varaha happened during swayambu manvantara and meena in vaivaswata. I think if we spread misinformation, we do not wNt someone else to point these. Bhagavata purana lists 36 avataras of vishnu in this kalpa … some yet to come. The ninth avatar is unnecessarily made political by our own puranas. Those interested… check ‘mayamoha’ avatara in bhagavata. Having said this, there is no second thought on our aryabhatta, brahmagupta, madhava and many other great mathematicians and scientists/philosophers that our india gave from ages
There are many different puranas which give various inconsistent lists of avatars: is it is not really right to say that one of them is true and the others are untrue. -@Navin
Different Puranas were written by different by authors at different times starting from the Gupta period around 4th century AD..each having their own agenda..

just to point out, in defense of vastu, we had discontinutity with out own culture for a long time, not saying we left it n started using it again but the higer end the researchers and experts were simply not there because of the invasions of islamic rulers n the british. ppl simply coundnt afford to spend enough time to really understand or evolve it acording to the time.... and now we are stranded from it n dont really have the basics down (not enough) to have a proper understanding or improving/evolving those technologies. just make better sense say some apocalypse happens tommorow we are just struggling to survive we heal get back on our feet eventually but now we dont know some things like say 0 x something is 0 we just know to add, sub, mul, divide, we can't even imagine the complicated stuff like integration n shit... what will we do we either follow the computer or some data remaining blindly or just develop new ways to arrive at the same thing. but as u can tell ppl are lazy n real scholars are not a regular or scripted occurance to the society so we do the first method following pre existing methoda blindly then wrong stuff start happening... the old ppl who have been following the same stuff for a long time wont like to adapt to new dicoveries even if discovered by some hence the resistence n the continuation of error in the method....... get it?
