An archaeologist demonstrates the skills for making a stone tool and how to make a Clovis-type large spear head. The program discusses the migration of Paleoindians, hunters who crossed the land bridge following the paths of the large mammals they hunted into North America. The video presents the climatic changes that followed which forced the culture of the hunters to change. These changes in way of life are examined. Narrated by James Wise. Produced by Marshall McKusick. Ancient Iowa Film Series, 1974. Copyright: University of Iowa Office of the State Archaeologist.
