This villa somehow manages to mix the aesthetic of the creepy rooms in my great great grandparents house that haven't been changed since the 1920s and an expensive designer house. Unbelievable 🤣 Kudos to the architect/designer!

Hey Agus! Thanks for the kind words I do miss the US but am absolutely in love with Indonesia. Hope California is treating you well! I lived there for many years around San Francisco. My Bahasa Indonesia needs quite a bit of work still even after the years, but I also keep it that way so that when my Indonesian GF needs me to do chores around the house I can just pretend like I don't understand ; ) Will remember that for next time thought that's a great tip! This place is unbelievable. I'd stay here for a year if I could. Pretty much every place y'all have shown is incredible, but this is definitely in my top 5. I'm having a hard time deciding between this place & Villa Mary in Canggu

Very cool architecture, design and interior, but the horrendous music ruins the experience, may i therefore suggest uploading this again with music that is more eclectic and unique and fitting to this unique place. Feel free also to add a little more detail about the architecture, -as a matter of fact, why not include the person behind the concept and let him/her explain why things where layed out the way it is... which is much more relevant than having a person walking around saying... "check out how cool this is". ;-)
It would be great to have the original designer/architect always available for these shoots, but unfortunately they aren't always available, and in some cases the villas we tour have been designed by international architects. Thanks for watching.
The amount of Indonesian made furniture, sculpture, craftsmanship and plantation in this compound are unbelievable. No doubt this is the best Javanese style villa outside of Java for sure. But as the owner perspective I'll find quite hard to replace that furniture as most of this woods are came from Java and it will takes time to collect or build to replace the broken one. The faster and the cheapest alternative is to mix with Balinese furniture I should say. I rate this villa 8/10 and Trevor splash score somewhere between 5/10 Well he can do better in the future to improve his splash score. haha..

Oh man that splash score hurts, but not as much as that splash stung my back. ; ) Agree though - that villa is easily one of my favorites. There are so many artifacts in it it's almost literally like walking through an Indonesian museum I wish I could have gotten more information about what everything was and had the time to talk about it. It's really a place that you have to see to understand I couldn't possibly do it justice in that short of a video. Next time I'll try and throw down a belly flop..
Beautiful! It looks like an authentic Bali experience with the houses, carved wood and stone, etc. Interesting layout with the ponds, paths and vegetation. What a unique atmosphere. Nice pool splash too! Love it!

Like most tropical places, there are mosquitos or other insects in Bali, but it isn't unbearable at all. Most villas and locations have measures in place to help ensure the insects aren't a problem and we also have lots of insecticide spray options here so it could help to prevent them coming
