Agree, but in their defense; they saw Che going after Miranda so no need to rush. They needed their privacy. No need for C&A to get involved at that moment. Besides, what else would you expect from Carrie? I’d say, that move was actually very accurate to Carrie’s character…👍

I told my friend that she seemed like a predatory lesbiana after her initial interactions with Miranda. She/they is a very unlikeable character but she’s being forced on us like ham and turkey at Thanksgiving when you’ve been vegan since high school….so everyone knows The show tries so hard to be politically correct and cover surface issues and not be “cancelled” that it’s reveling and rejoicing in its failure - caz everyone’s still watching- and that’s the primary thing that effects their coins
Hey, Gay Cousin here. That scene with Anthony and Giuseppe was ridiculous. That wasn't their first date. The top, bottom, verse conversation would have happened early on, not after several encounters. Also, Anthony saying he doesn't bottom because he's not a woman, WTF?! It's the 21st century we don't think that way anymore if we ever did. IMO that entire conversation and scene was there for shock value only and it certainly wasn't in any way sex-positive.
Maybe that’s how older gay generation used to think. MPK is from that generation. I was shocked too but I thought that was interesting to know more about the subject. I have a young gay friend who also refers to bottom and top ( like: oh this guy must be a bottom) but I thought being a bottom was a temporary thing and that you could be both in the same sexual activity. 🤷🏻♀️
I'm gay too and I could see 1) the top, bottom, vers conversation happening later into a relationship even if it was explicitly defined from the beginning because later down the road, the two may want to open up about what they want and that's how I felt about this scene. 2) The bottom role has always been linked to being feminine, it has nothing to do with older generation or 21st Century. I'm a Millennial and that's how it has always been. I was on a 5.5 year relationship, and there was a point where the verse conversation happened. I give you some, you give me some, let's explore each other more.
Carrie and Aiden just sitting there looking embarrassed while Miranda got roasted infuriated me. Show some support! Carrie is such a terrible friend. In the original series you could see why people liked her despite being selfish because she could be funny but now she is just serenely bland. The monk storyline is just bizarre.

I think Carrie is crazy to invite Che to her dinner party knowing Steve will be there as well! Che is the one Miranda cheated on him with. His mariage got destroyed and now Carrie except all exes to be happy? Does she even understand the concept of “party”? Also Che doesn’t know anybody in this party and she barely knows Carrie. She didn’t even know about Aiden.

Thank you for assessing Steve, as someone who is also hard of hearing seeing people be ableist towards him as hurt a lot. If people notice a change in an actor folk really need to take a minute and look into it rather than making fun. Especially since so much of this cast has gotten older, but as someone who is 33 and has had a couple of strokes which has caused me to become partially deaf and I do have speech issues too, as soon as I saw Steve in the new show I could tell what was going on. Disabled folk are everywhere, taking a moment to consider that helps everyone out.
I agree with you about being considerate and using ableist language. For me, because the show is so nonsensical, and such a departure from the original show and the original characters, I assumed it was just another bad decision the show runners made. I would never EVER intentionally make fun of a person with a disability.

Same here. I was a show STAN. Bought all the books and the entire series on DVD, lol. Those damn plastic cases. I actually loved the first movie. I have mixed feelings about the second, but I’ll take it. This? No thank you. But I watch your recaps faithfully.

Girl, the Victory Tour comment almost killed me 😂😂 So accurate, and the pics! My uncle took me & my brother to see the Victory tour in the 80s. It was a great time and Carrie would've fit right in with those boots.
I think I read that Willie Garson didn't want them to kill off Stanford. But they way they did finally write him off was beyond stupid. And I know this is an EXTREMELY unpopular opinion, but Samantha Jones and Kim Cattrall can both kiss my ass.
The only reason I want this horrendous show to come back for a third season is so I can watch Elle Bee's recaps. Big's dead, Samantha ran away over a stupid book pr job, Miranda is unrecognizable, Charlotte's about to float away in her puffy sleeves and Stanford is a monk. Carrie is the only consistent character which means she's a terrible person and even worse friend. If Carrie wakes up in the last episode and it turns out to be "all a dream" I'd still hate this show but at least it would mean the characters we've always loved would still be intact. I think the writers at this point hate us and hate the characters and are doing whatever they can to ruin the show just so it will end. It is the only explanation that makes sense to me.

Carrie is a TERRIBLE friend. I cannot imagine myself sitting there like a clown when my friend is being publicly humiliated. I would have taken Miranda by the hand, left with her and then cut off Che. Do those writers know how unlikable they make her? Putting some loser she knows a moment over her best friend for decades. Also, Aidan's fake crying was extremely bad acting. When you have actor like that who acts this way, you have to adjust scene and film around their ability.

This series reminds me of why I believe that Kim Cattrall/Samantha Jones was the sauce to this plate of boiled noodle characters. Her cameo will be THE highlight of the whole series. This puffy wardrobe Charlotte is always in needs to be dropped into an active volcano and never seen again. Give it a rest writers!!!! They need to permanently sever whatever crossroads there is that allows these multiverse versions of Charlotte to keep appearing and disappearing. They need to reduce the central cast for S3. If only they’d disappear a few pointless characters. We can really do without Che, Bobby Lee & Smoke, Seema, and all the kids. I know some people see Seema as the new Samantha but that isn’t possible. The actress is nowhere nearly as good as Kim Cattrall.
That was Che’s funniest standup yet. I enjoyed laughing at Miranda the entire time. If they wanna keep Nya in the loop and make it fun or interesting, they should have Nya and Steve get together at the dinner… and have Nya get pregnant with Steve’s baby. It would serve Miranda right.

Why do the writers think people can just up and move to another country? Japan does not have an old white man monk visa. He is at least an English-teaching monk. Also, Shinto and Buddhism are two different religions and it sounds like the writers mixed them up. Shinto = priests, shrines and Buddhism = monks, temples.

Yes you never stop worrying about your kids!!! My 22 yr old decided to go ‘find himself’ after college grad. He hit every country he could find in the Far East, including a photo opp at the North Korean border with a dude pointing a rifle at him. Thought it was ‘cute’! I slept with one eye open for 9 months… at least he hid the Multiple motorcycle accidents til he got home to show scars. 😮 and he wonders why I prefer the dog! 😂
