Me and a couple buddies started this campaign yesterday. Called it for the night after our first battle against the T-80s, was a rude awakening after just bullying up on the East German T-55s

I do really love this new co-op feature. Really adds to the fun of these campaigns. Can't wait to try it with some friends. I finished the Fulda Gap campaign today and really enjoyed it. Getting all the victory points within the set 12 turns was a lot harder then I imagined it would be. The passive income from controlled territory is quite low. Only 4 per turn, which means you have to keep destroying units, but at some point fatigue and battle attrition really start to hit you hard.

For situations like this, it might be worth considering not going for the conquest win at all? Focusing forces in one area of the battle should mean that you get a fairly significant local numerical advantage resulting in a better K:D and thereby allowing you to build up your forces over time while theirs stay around the same or reduce in size, eventually allowing a push in for the morale victory. It's especially helpful when you have limited AA since it means you need less AA to cover all your forces, or you can have the same number with overlapping fields of fire. Holding a 3 point zone while they hold two 2 pointers gives them a +1, but it takes like an hour to conquest win at that rate, so should be ok. I'll also mention that there is "quick hunt" order, hotkey N, that you can give, which combines fast move with attack move. I think that might have saved your chaparal this battle, it ended up getting fairly close to the enemy helo before stopping to fire. I might be misremembering, but I think the chaparal should normally outrange all helo ATGMs, so it would have had a very hard time fighting back.
