The Made for TV movie about Sonny and Cher's rise to fame and the downfall of their marriage. I am uploading this strictly for entertainment purposes only, not to infringe any copyrights.
I've not seen this movie before ... didn't even know there was a movie out about Sonny & Cher. This has been really great! Thanks for putting this out. I thought it was really well done and seemed pretty realistic and true to their real story.
Sonny and Cher had a terrific vocal sound together... like they were meant to sing together. Whatever else did not end up working in their relationship, they had an amazing sound... great harmonies.
allthatjazzspaz95 - She sure does! And the funny part is that Jay Underwood who is playing Sonny - they had to use several fake noses on the actor to denote Sonny's nose jobs but Renee Faia who was playing Cher didn't need any, yet SHE was the butt of the nose joke earlier! lol
My wedding song! I got you babe is one of ultimate love anthems of ALL TIME! My husband and I really fit this song....we have each others backs. I lean on him, he leans on me, before it's earned our money really has been all spent....we have our love...no matter what we stick together.
They just skip 20 mins off this ...it didn't show Sonny catching Cher off guard singing in washroom, and encourage him to sing more and another part is he finds out she's under age, another part is Cher mom suddenly barge into into the house, instead of her mom leaving.
LoL when I was young I was sort of embarrassed because my mom loved Sonny and Chers song "I got you babe", she'd sing it out loud as though the song was meant for me and my siblings (eight kids). ❤️❤️😊🙏✌️😎
Yeah...that's one of my favorite parts cuz I love that song :) and they actually got the timing correct in that scene (1965)...but what I couldn't figure is…why it overlapped scenes between Sonny practicing "I Got You Babe" on the piano versus them recording the song -- and reenacting Top of the Pops? That's where it got a bit confusing to me lol
