If they have to make a spin-off series as they keep trying to do, I'd really like one about the early adventures of Bobby and Rufus. You can do a lot with that, I think. Maybe even involve a young John Winchester as a new hunter.
Yeah, I'd have liked to see Rufus teaching Bobby the lore, or Grumpy Old Hunters. I also would have liked it if they'd gone along with the second back-door spin-off they tried. My personal hope for the show that Jensen is making is that Sam, Dean, or both, find a way to be sent back in time to sometime after Sam is born but before Mary dies. They tell their parents enough about the future so that Mary lives and so we have a complete reboot. Mary teaches John all the hunting lore, and the two of them have to protect their boys whilst being hunted by both upstairs and downstairs.
Oh Eric, 'nothing ever really stays dead in Supernatural'. Earlier seasons the waiting to see if the show was picked up for another season was real and unsure, so easier to take a death of a character as final.
This one was upsetting for me. Rufus was one of my fave pop-up characters. There were some great ones that made you happy to see them slip into an episode and disappear until the next surprise. Ellen, Jo and Ash were other ones as well. It's a shame that we keep losing those people.
I really was sad that rufus was killed he definitely should had stayed longer in the show and I'm really am going to miss seeing rufus and Bobby working together
I liked the monster of the week story. I hated seeing Samuel and Rufus die, especially Rufus, why didn't they give him a hunters funeral? Loved the way Jim Beaver played the evil bit.
I would guess that they didn't do a hunter's funeral because Rufus was Jewish and they wanted to respect his religious beliefs over hunter customs. That's the theory I go with at least.
I was actually happy seeing samuel get killed off I really hated him glad gamble decided to remove the last of the Campbell's even though I did like gwen 🙂💯😡🤬
