This is a time capsule of a great time before smart phones and social media where people wanted to go outside and play I'm 24 an glad I got to experience this era!!!

20 years later and this shit is HOOD TREASURE! I was only 10 years old when this came out in 2002! Now I’m 30 and must say this was a GREAT TIME to be a kid! I’m so glad I got to witness this. I’m blessed to say I went to the Mixtape Tour Games here in Detroit 2004 & 2005! I had all the mixtapes too as well.

I miss AND1 street ball so much. So glad I was able to experience this era as a kid. Life was simple and fun.

I was fresh out of high school in 2002 in L.A. I used to love watching this back then and to this day. I had all the dvds. I used to also have the bum fights, felony fights, and the girls gone wild dvds on deck 😂

Man i remember watching this and G4TV during the summer back in middle school. Best part of my life period.

I never realized how ungrateful some of the players were. As a kid I didn't see it and some of them aren't really about the kids like they say. I was 15 years old trying to talk to 50 in Toyota center he ignored me had me feeling stupid calling his name he finally turned side ways smacked his lips and told his girl get rid of this kid. His girl turns around and says 50 ain't saying no autographs. I wasn't even asking for that I just wanted to meet him and say hi. I'll never forget it. It hurt me deeply cause it was because of him is why I wanted to jump I practiced crazy finally I did my first dunk when I was 14 I wanted to just tell him how much I admired him. But instead I got a lesson in life. Some people let there Fame get to them. To were they think they can just ignore people like they're not even there. Some folks get uppity and now seeing this rerun I'm finally seeing things that I didn't see growing up. True story

I hate i have adult eyes now, and at 32 just like wrestle mania i now realize the defensive side were paid to not really D up in order for some of those tricks to go through😂😂😂 but i came here to fight my adult depression with nostalgic memories and it's helping!

This was basketball to me. I was a 6 foot 12 year old and taught myself how to dribble using illegally downloaded low res copies of the And 1 mixtapes. I never grew another inch so I became point guard in HS and college. Thank you And 1.

I remember going to Rucker Park,the Kingdome, the Cage,Gun Hill, and Dyckman to watch these guys play this was when and 1 had the serious streetball legends who been putting it down since day .

i used to record all these episodes on tape...timeless days..then i use to go in the garage and practice all of them..i use to cross everybody .but when it came to getting buckets against the high school players i never could hang.. i focused on too much and 1 and not enough nba

i swear... i used to watch this and be the only girl on the block crossing guys over, shooting they eyes out!! played in little league teams playing every position lol then i got to high school, it wasn't basketball anymore, it was business. wasn't fun anymore. i can't even take it serious, i played for the fun, just the love of the sport like these guys... dang this bring back memories
