Hi Would like to know places to stay .Where did u stay ? Budget ?

@@shvetajorasamar There are three areas to stay in Havelock Island. Near Radhanagar Beach (less resorts options, but near the best beach, costly), near Govindnagar Beach (more options, also near to the beach, but Govindnagar beach could be rocky) and in middle of the Island (many options, cheaper, away from beaches). We stayed in "Barefoot by Andamans" near Radhanagar Beach (1st Option). The cottage we chose cost us 12k per night. There are also different types of cottages with them which cost a little more/less. Back in 2020, there was no network. Hotels provided WiFi which was of weak to moderate strength. However, things must have only improved since then.

No. But you can do things like sea walking and snorkeling there. Govind nagar Beach is the place for SCUBA in Havelock.

There are lot of good agencies. You may go with PADI certified agencies, which may cost a little more or the regular ones which will be little cheaper. We did with Island Divers.

It mostly depends on the hotel stay. It cost us as follows: Hotel - 12k*5 = 60k SCUBA - 3.5k*2= 7k Scooty - 500*5 = 2.5k Other expenses - 1.5k*5 = 4.5k

The thing that can spoil your Andaman trip is rainy or cloudy weather. This year especially, is very uncertain in terms of weather...in general, it usually rains in August. But you can be lucky with your travel window. Just try to check the weather beforehand...

Mid May can be hot. Even if it starts to rain, you will miss the perfect sunrises and sunsets due to cloudy/overcast weather. So I won't recommend it.

Many travelers and agents write on google that may is not so hot and there is no rain... June to aug is rainy.

@@Sahil-kb6qq I can understand that, I too got influenced by such posts/blogs/websites and went to Meghalaya in March. These travel destinations are so great that people can feel good in every weather. However, we can choose to be there when it is best. So in May, I won't recommend going there as you can go there in winters, when you will feel better.

@@Sahil-kb6qq If you live in a hot place, May must be extremely hot. So, I would suggest going some place cool, like Ladakh, Kashmir, Sikkim (in that order). If you live in a place that is cool in May, I would suggest you stay there only as rest of the India will be extremely hot.
