That's the maximum they can give him at once. It's Norwegian law, but he'll be in prison until death. Every 5 years he can go to court and be incarcerated again or set free (he's probably going to go through that loop and stay jailed until his death). It's basically a life sentence in practice, they just couldn't say more than 21 because it would defy laws

21 years doesn't necessarily mean he will be let out after those 21 years, it means that after 21 years a psychiatric evaluation will be made as to whether or not it is safe to let him out. But for someone like this, it is very unlikely he will ever be evaluated to be safe to release

No. Norwegian law can only give 21 years. After those 21 years it will be considered if he’s still a danger to the public, which he still is, so he will be given another 21 years. So basically 21 years each time until he’s dead. He won’t ever get out of prison, and if he does, he will be killed immediately.

I think it played a huge role for the propaganda machine alongside the swastika in romanticizing days gone past of German emperors and generals in the Roman Empire, symbols do conjure up feelings of nationalism, pride and patriotism it's potency becomes irresistible when it's been romanticized and painted alongside things like the Hindenburg. As you can tell the Nazi regime where very sophisticated with propaganda so much so the Americans actually adopted some of their methodologies and shipped across Nazi officials after the war to train the American military and when it became politically risky they deported them to Latin American countries. It's Norway. A country that is failing hard in some areas. Think ''Dunning Kruger effect'' 😉 But he's got TBS. Which means he will never be released unless he convinces psychiatrists that he is cured. But this being Norway I still don't feel 100% sure he will never come out. It's Norway you know 🤨 Cops still walk around without weapons. Even after this, and a shooting with a bow and arrow a few years ago that could just go ahead because the cops didn't have weapons. And a shooting in a gay bar as well. So when a crazy guy starts shooting in a busy bar street the cops all run away to the station to get guns. While people get shot and have to risk their lives to bring the shooter down themselves. You know that Breivik put down his weapons as soon as he saw an armed cop? Still he managed to kill 77 people that were all running and hiding. It took the cops an hour to get weapons and come to the island. Had they had guns on them they could have saved dozens of lives. All added up we might be at 40-50 deaths in 20 years time due to these unarmed cops. And still they have this discussion on if the cops should carry weapons. Because they might shoot an innocent person by accident 🤯 I have zero trust in our system, our police or our politicians.
