I am glad that IFFM gave the best actress award to Tabu as she was snubbed by most of the award ceremonies in India. She definitely deserved the best actress award over Alia Bhatt in Raazi. I think National Awards was a close call cuz Keerthy Suresh was outstanding as well. Tabu is the Meryl Streep of India.
The most underrated thing about the film was its music. Amit Trivedi created a gem which hardly got appreciated. Special mention about the piano pieces. Trivedi showed the magic that piano can bring alone...
Not underrated bro , everyone praises the music. Their videos may not have gained views on youtube. But andhandhun's music has great audio value and we're hits on music streaming platforms.
@@Timepass-cx1do not just the songs, the overall score and the background score according to the situation of the scene was phenomenal which many people don't talk about
Absolutely people or atleast I had to watch it 2-3 times that's what a Sriram Raghavan movie does fantastic story telling in his own unique way I am a big fanhe makes some captivative cinema superb concept
Such a grounded person Shriram, you get the feel that anyone could approach him and start a conversation. Always willing to pass the credit to his cast and crew. Looking forward to what's next.
Rajiv Masand is an absolute champion of Movie interviews. This is how you conduct an interview. So many stories, so many anecdotes. No Stupid shosha. Brilliant.
I am slightly disappointed with the fact that there was no discussion on the amazing soundtrack of the film. It could have been a very good topic. I would have also liked if there was some discussion on the other supporting characters played by Radhika Apte, the doctor played by Zakir Hussain (I think), etc.
I so very much agree with you!! Andhadhun is a brilliant movie and so is Badhai Ho! But Tumbad is a film completely different from what has been done in it's genre. It deserved more than what it has got whether by box office returns or recognition. Really the most underrated film in recent times. And the background music. It still haunts me.
I watched this interview for first 30 mins and got a feeling Not enough credit given to "Ayushman Khurrana". People including Tabu dying to take the credit of success and intentionally avoiding fine performance of Ayushman.
Sumit Mangal i don’t think she is taking undue credit. The thing is Tabu has always been underrated and is finally getting recognition especially for someone in her 40s is a great thing. Ayushmann should have been here for the film festival.
So the director man is REALLY hard to understand. This movie is great, I watch it a lot! I have my thoughts about the ending but it's too much to write. LOL
I wish Rajiv Masand learns to listen first and then start his rambling. Very annoying method of an interviewer never let the director finish his answer.
Rajeev Masand must work on his oration. I frequently watch his interviews and his way of asking the questions is not up to the mark. He stammers, cuts his own sentences in half, and talks a lot before asking a question.
I'll be honest I have no idea why Vadachennai was overlooked. Except for it being the first part of a trilogy. Also Andhadhun was great and no need to judge a movie only with awards.
rajiv your interview style shows you have run out of ..content...please upgrade yourself. not only do movies need content but even critics and interviewers do
An interesting movie to watch, but when they say bollystupidwood makes unreal movies .. this is it.. may sound like a good script screenplay, acting yada yada yada .. but this is such unreal nonsense. Watch this movie and be honest ..unreal to another level
