Hi! Thx for the informative video. BTW where did you get those fork connector screws? They don't seem to be original. I live in Europe and replacement parts are hard to get. If you can provide the specification that would be highly appreciated. Many thx in advance.

It blows me away how complicated this f**king thing can be and I just use it to cut my own hair. I've only had it for a little over a year and it was having a couple different issues... one of them being, at some point the razor got pushed up, so the moving/cutter blade extended beyond the steel surface blade and no matter how many times I dissembled and tweaked the interior nothing would get it to realign normally. I could still use it but the side lever could only go 2/3rds up, but I was having other issues that probably correlated with that.... over the course of a haircut it would get really loud and I would have to constantly tweak the side screw to get a functional vibrating state. I ended up watching a few of these videos that focused on the interior tweaks and I tried everything and I still couldn't get the blade to set lower... I Eventually did something that worked but I'm not certain what it was.... It may have been that weird 2 dimpled screw on the side since I just so happened to adjust that for the first time, just before it started working, however I also messed around with the interior again, so who knows. My side dimple screw apparently rose above the surface more than it's supposed too... however it may have always been that way... but my blade is back to normal with a perfect degree of vibration and sound. I was just about to give up on these clippers and go back to my old ones that I used for a decade... they didn't work as good, but I never had any technical issues. I'm not sure if these clippers are notoriously a pain in the dick or maybe it was just bad luck and I ended up with one that was.

Mine keeps sliding to the right on its own smh it won’t stay where I need it too, but if I tighten or loose my he screw I’m either getting the rattling noise or theres like no power. I’ve been a barber for too long lol I know how my clippers should feel, power/voltage wise. This is frustrating

Hi! You need to take the entire screw out, get medium Loctite (typically blue), and put that on the threads of the screw. Let it set, then reinstall and adjust the screw. It sounds like the factory Loctite has crumbled off the threads of your screw, allowing it to move with the vibrations of the machine which is why it won't maintain your adjustments. Hope that helps! :)

@@TheEdgePro that’s exactly why it’s moving, the vibrations.. will it mess up the alignment of anything by taking the screw all the way out?
@TheEdgePro
@TheEdgePro 2 года назад
@@Fella48 As long as you don't turn it on while the screw is out, the only thing you should need to adjust is this screw when you are putting it back in. Thanks!

Thanks for the vid, I see you did this helpful video a while ago but figured I'd ask anyways as I am pretty clueless. I am having problems with a new fademaster, that black fork in the clipper is flush right and not centered at all and it totally throwing the lower blade off and its even hard to get the blade clipped in at all. I cant get the top and lower blades to line up. Can you give any advice on how to move the black fork towards the middle ? Thanks in advance, cheers.

All of the corded master models are the electromagnetic motors. The neural position of the motor is designed for the left tooth on the cutter to align with the inside edge of the left large tooth on the comb. The magnetic motor will pull the cutter to the right and a spring return will bounce past the edge of the large tooth on the left. When adjusting the position of the mounting fork, first clean and oil the blade followed by correct adjustment of the power screw. Then center the comb in the blade mounting screws, making sure the comb is straight with the clipper. Remove the cover from the clipper. The fork has two mounting screws securing it to the arm. Currently these are T-20 torx fasteners. Loosen the two fasteners and move the fork and cutter to the correct position and tighten the screw back down. Turn on the clipper briefly then double check you lol Ike the resting position of the cutter. If it needs more adjustment make the changes until you are happy with it.

Maybe I didn’t catch it but what is the screw underneath the adjustment screw?
@TheEdgePro
@TheEdgePro 4 года назад
It is a stabilizing screw. to help keep the vibrating rhythm moving toward the blade to maximize stroke. The best practice is to leave it alone at the factory setting.

When I turn it on...makes a loud click sometimes..is that typical?
@TheEdgePro

Yep! Perfectly normal. It should be a quick snap and then running smooth.
