Yeah too total opposites with one who is proud to push detrimental agendas, while the other is really about the artform and pushing society in a positive direction.
I believe she does. Sexxy is a real HOOD chick, not that made up for the “fame” shit! she moves with appreciarion… it look different than “MADE” artists “weee gotta leaveee?” Said it all. TRUST
At first I question sexy red being on the panel, but after watching I believe it will serve as growth for her. If we want her to be better we must embrace her stepping into new territory.
Yes, you want people to evolve and grow from where they are. You put them with people that sit higher on the podium that will take their mind to higher places, different thinking different things different people different places. Yes she’ll be all right. She deserve to be on that podium with these guys
I can see she don't know a lot about Andre 3K but I hope she looks him up. When she sees the video of him standing up for the south, she'll understand. This man is something else. One of those rare humans. Rare spirits. He goes beyond hip-hop. That's beautiful and inspiring.
It truly was a time to be alive. Nothing like coming from the 90s, 80s era of rap. We had some very genuine real lyricist that showed us that it was OK to be different and that we had a voice that needed to be heard, regardless of where you came from.
@@Mr._ED1914damn bro where’s the hate for all the executives paying millions to ensure her type is broadcasted to the world? she wouldn’t be here unless a label picked her up.
@@Beamken i agree with you. The executives are the most responsible. She is just a young ignorant girl. The execs have fooled us all and is using her to highlight negative stereotypes of black women..no different from these ignorant drill rappers. I dont hate her...i dislike ( not hate anyone) the people that support this crap.
💥Andre3k is BY FAR MY FAVORITE RAPPER!! I’m 44& from Birmingham; So I feel like I grew up with him since we were so close to ATL! He’s DEFINITELY 💯 UNDERRATED!! Always HAD FIRE 🔥 BARS! So Happy to see him out!! ❤❤👏🏽🙏🏽💥🔥🌹
he is damn near everybody favorite. he definitely yo fav rapper favorite rapper look at they interview. 3stack like damn near a prophet now in hip hop. those who know underdig me. infact ask any rapper out dat south trap rappers and all who dont like no body else musik ( Gucci, NBA young, etc...) all say 3stacks is his own thang in his own lane
I see the comments about Sexyy Red being out of place, but I feel like this was a good experience for her. Being surrounded by successful, respectful men who can give her good advice and guidance.
It's funny to me when Sexxy Red says (paraphrasing), "You wouldn't even understand the weird shit I be listening to," to Andre3000. Like, do you realize he's the genesis of making "weird shit" cool in rap? lol
I've watched every episode of the shop and I can honestly say this was the best one ever! Every conversation every sentence meant something. And 3000 is an American treasure
I honestly like that Sexy Red was here. I don’t care for her music but this experience she had with this roundtable of legends especially with 3K was dope
Yes I love the difference in the people cause regardless how you feel they all be through some of the same things no matter what field they’re in. I’m proud of my people ❤
Andres musical talent surpasses SO many! Love him and his eclectic nature, being able to fit in to whatever environment he’s placed in. International players anthem, one of my ALL TIME favorite songs, thanks to his verse. And his verse on “Life of the party” blew me away. Kudos to 3 Stacks for being so talented and still very much relevant to this day. Loved seeing Lebron “fan out” with Andre and appreciate his music ❤️
The most interesting person in the room is usually the one that wants to grow beyond everyone’s expectation of them. Excellent post! Much respect, Stacks🙏🏾
All here for Andre 3000. I've seen a few of these episodes, some more interstate than others... A personal opinion of course, but I do appreciate you putting legends and new people in the same conversation.
Crazy I was religiously pumping: elevators and me and you (&your cousin) all month even when I was doing Lyft lol. Introduced a lot of passengers to OutKast lol.
@@KingDingaling411-wq1kzhuh its strange but far from gross this is normal we all got koo ass uncles and den ratchet ass cousins hell even siblings can be polar opposites this is actually great balance
The funny part is that I GUARANTEE that Dre' gave her some powerful advice and encouragement off camera and as ghetto as she is, I KNOW she's about to do her googles and get more familiar with everyone he talked about. I'm not a Sexxy Red fan, but I think she's tired of being the laughing stock. She's gonna elevate I believe.
This one has to be one of the Top 5 Groups to enter The Shop being interviewed together! Andre will always be GORGEOUS, a genius with the pen, his lyrical skills will always be impeccable……Sexy Red gets my respect because she’s a real woman who is authentically herself. The Creator of the Essentials Brand gets my respect as well! His level of humbleness is superb! Great job putting this one together y’all!!!!!
In 10 years or less, Sexy Red will be on a whole different level simply from this moment in the presence of Andre 3000. She soaked in everything he said.
Yea she will be at the crib watching real artist on TV while taking care of her kids alone because she chose aint shit men. She soaked nothing up but maybe the fact she is in a room with legends in their field.
@ryanhammond6688 I respect your opinion. But just remember, no one starts out a legend. I remember when Andre 3000 was getting hated on worse than sexy red for his flamboyant dress style, painted nails, having a baby by Erykah Badu, etc. But he was a visionary and now all of his weirdness is the new norm.
The atmosphere they created as they were conversing, so organically receptive of each other's stories ...is an example of, a small investment of listening to each other creates relations that familiarize us with one another, which contributes to an atmosphere to where we receive(share) each other's stories with open-mindedness and without prejudices... ... ONE LOVE from FUNKY TOWN TEXAS!!!...NINO 4LIFE
Yall ever think that they put him and her on a interview on purpose? Imagine how much she learned and took away from andre ......hes from the hood and different but expresses it in a different way than her .....im sure she took amazing gems from this
Obviously, she’s there and he’s there at the same time; so by definition…intentional. Lol. They always do a very diverse group of guest. I agree she most likely took so much from that roundtable.
Great interview. Creating a barbershop space where everyone listens and shares their narrative and opinions increases conversation. I appreciate hearing when each person realized they could “become”, how supportive people helped and embracing challenges they’d have to overcome all were key! Bravo!
The love I have for Andre 3000 is unmatched. He is such an intellect and a lyrical genius. His verse on "Sorry" & "International Players Anthem" is my favorite. & his skin is so beautiful! My gosh! Keep going!
Thank you for putting this on RU-vid. You didnt have to and I for one really appreciate and The Shop in general. Infomative, influential and interviews like these of our icons/heroes/idols are imperative to the culture. One love.
high school me was wanting interviews to happen now it's happening more so and I'm just glad it is. Dope interview, still watching will finish as I have time to. Shout out to "The Shop"
my favorite person in the world. I met him 2 times...I have a whole Chapelle story about Andre, lol! one day I'll tell it. One of the greatest artist, keyword, artist of all time. Dallas, and Atlanta
i wish i could sit in on something like this. being a white kid from a suburban area who doesn’t understand the backgrounds they’ve had, but i appreciate the work, craft, drive, and obviously the confidence they had in themselves. listening to this stuff could inspire anyone in the world
