If there is ever someone worthy of a Nobel peace price it is André and his orchestra. All over the world he brings joy and friendship in every possibly musical language. He must have touched millions and millions by now.

Except for that Man on the Roland , sitting behind Andre with intense concentration , trying to match the tempo at which they're fiddling and trying to filter out the crowd's clapping.. he looks quite un-happy 😑😑

John Sheahan was one of the greatest of the great Irish folk musicians. A member of The Dubliners from '64 to 2012, when the name of the group was retired, he was loved and admired throughout Ireland and the world.

Irish American here. My Dad used to play it on the piano when I was a kid. Nothing but joy.....I always called it, "The Irish jig", not knowing its real name.

Yes , that is why crowd should refrain form clapping, especially when it's getting fast, they only get worse and there is always a lag from back of crowd to front.

I saw John Sheahan perform when he played with the Dubliners in my hometown, up North in The Netherlands. They played their butts of and were fantastic, just as great as het is in this video, both men are real musicians, love them.

Dank u well, meneer Rieu! Your shows are always marvellous... and impressing! And I really love Irish music. I enjoyed Andre's show then - and also now. Music is always the answer. IMusic gives you hope and brings your people through bad and even worse times... like the Irish had for centuries... And the Jews.. the Kurds unfortunately still have... Long live peaceful and hopefully in near united Ireland - where the catholic Iris and the protestantic Irish are living in the 21st century democratically and with respect to each other... And pray one day that the nowadays still suffering Kurds may have the chance too... amen....
