Many years ago, you came to Ottawa, Canada and my husband (then boy friend) took my elderly mother and I to your concert, managing to obtain tickets in the middle on the floor of the Canadian Tire Centre. My husband and I danced to your music, and then he asked my mother to dance with him. That was a thrill of a lifetime for all of us, but especially for my mother. She passed away in June 2018, but so often used to talk about that experience. She would have been in her mid to late '80s at the time, (one week minus her 100th birthday when she passed) and she was so thrilled that we took her to see your concert. Thank you for all the happiness you bring the world. We need more people like you.

I flew with my 89-year-old father from Southern California to attend the opening night concert on July 4th. As soon as I arrived at Vrijthof square, I saw the banner hanging on a building next next to the theater, which said, “André, you are the sunshine of our lives!” Thank you for making it such a fun and memorable night for us. My Dad and I had a great time. We purchased the André Rieu Travel company package. Thank you for the pleasant surprise of the free gelato at the concert venue. Love my gelato!
