My mom loved Andre Rieu and especially this song. She's been gone six years now. Every now and then I listen to it, to remind me of her and have a good cry...tonight is one of those nights. I miss you mom.
My father loved this song and use to put it to me when i was a kid. He died two months ago so I understand so well your feeling, i Also miss him a lot. I am sure it was a great mother.
@@Fernando-yf4co I'm sure your father was a great dad and I'm sorry to hear of his passing. At least we always have the memories and music to keep them close to our hearts. God bless.
+Grant Stoutenburg I've that face when I look at a cake in the oven :p (joke apart, I definitely agree with you, it's beautiful and he knows it, so it's easy to show serenity given playing the violin
This is possibly one of the most beautiful, sad, memorising and powerful pieces of music ever. It moves me like nothing else, It reminds me of love lost but never forgotten, of hurting and hope, of sorrow and peace. Simply amazing
Sure this piece of music is calm and relaxing and soothing, but the most beautiful? really? like of course i know its your opinion and i respect that absolutely but i mean there are loads more powerful, enchanting, euphoric compositions than this believe me
Be a good song for America's Requiem in about 2050 when the whites have all but vanished, constitution and bill of rights revoked, Lincoln Monument plowed under and demographic destiny has finished her off, forever.
I'm here because my husband bought me a music box that plays this. I wanted to hear the original music. As a violinist myself this is simply beautiful.
@@barbarablue2571 what makes you think and say that? Have you never known someone, who made your heart ❤️ quicken and your palms sweat, to say nothing about other changes in your thinking and other parts of your body? And you just have a aching longing to be near them always. You can call it lust, but if it remains and is long term then that's what we call ❤️ ❤️ love.
i bet you're not a violinist LMAO. he's making that face because, first of all, he's outside and prolly squinting, and second of all, readin sheet music.
Se mi posso permettere, tra tutti gli strumenti che conosco, reputo il violino quello che piu' si avvicina ed entra in contatto con il sentimento umano e con il divino in una dimnione superiore.
"Although it has been played for centuries, no audience has ever stepped onto the stage and prevented Romeo from drinking the poisonous elixir. Although it was known that the ship would eventually sink, Titanic was watched Many times. If you run away from love with the fear that it will end. You will not enjoy life at all. Because romeo must die, the titanic must be, but love must be lived in spite of everything."🥀🌙

A time for us, someday there'll be When chains are torn by courage born of a love that's free A time when dreams, so long denied Can flourish as we unveil the love we now must hide A time for us at last to see A life worthwhile for you and me And with our love through tears and thorns We will endure as we pass surely through every storm A time for us, someday there'll be A new world, a world of shining hope for you and me A time for us at last to see A life worthwhile for you and me And with our love through tears and thorns We will endure as we pass surely through every storm A time for us, someday there'll be A new world, a world of shining hope for you and me

Taught this play for 32 yrs. in high school English. Always watched the Franco Zefferelli versio with Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting. Such soulful and tragic musiv. The movie was filmed in Italy making it very authntic. Andre is also using Itaĺy as a backdrop which heightens the authenticity.
I was very young, like 12 maybe 14 when I first saw the Zefferelli movie. I was not a romantic kid - but, even at that age I remember the feeling I had after it ended - magic, elation, excitement - it captured True love - eternal romantic love. I was high for a while after, just wanted to hold the feeling. It spilt over into young love, short-lived as it was, but at least I know it - had a taste of it. Eternal.
T most famous scene is the balcony scene where Julit is talking into thin air and is saying O Romeo, Romeo wherefore art thou Romeo and Romeo is below listening.
Can't explain the feeling when every time i hear this beautiful music... Felt like something like i just travel back to centuries.. And this is a magical music... Thats the beauty n power of a beautiful instrument called VIOLIN ❤❤
It's not like I haven't heard this theme a million times by now, but why is it hitting me differently today? Like it's trying to bring out an emotion I didn't know existed and also something I can't recognize.
Oh My God, Finally, I Found the song i was searching for my Whole Lifeee 😭😭 The Moment Is so much special that I can't even Express 😩😩 One Of the most precious, special and nostalgic Songs Ever in my Life ❣️
I was in Verona,Italy 2 weeks ago. I had a chance to visit Casa Di Guiletta and it was an amazing experience. Everyone was watching the romantic balcony ❤ Generation Z please do not let this Masterpiece song to get forgotten till 4ever 🫶🏻
Today I was driving and suddenly my mind started playing this song . . . I didn't remember what was the sound ... but ... of course !! It was about one of my favorite ... I love Andre and his violin ... I'm just on love ❤
Best of the best romeo and juliet theme,i can say i can understand many cover of this theme from piano,guitar,saxophone,flute,...but only in violin, that cover make me feeling Juliet's emotional spend for Romeo Great job,Andre Rieu
The composer of the theme is Nino Rota for "Romeo and Juliet" directed by Franco Zeffirelli (1968), with interpretation by Andre Rieu and his orchestra.
I saw him perform 20 years ago in the UK before he was world famous. His solo violin performance was staggering. Immense stage presence - a virtuoso indeed.
Beautiful, romantic and sweet melody. The theme of Romeo and Juliet. One of the biggest love ever. And the interpretation of Andre on his violin is fantastic, like everything else that he plays. Bravo Maestro!!!
The first time I listen to this song was about 8 years ago. With someone very special, we both cried while listening. Now I wish I could turn back time and never give up that relationship.
If I love one tune, this is the one. Love Andre, but wish the actress was similar to Olivia. I saw this (1968) in mid 70's during my teen and discovered Romance.
I've never been falling in love but violin makes wanna me appear my feelings in the same way. My regrets,my sadness, my happiness,my hopeless. And now I am joyful of the violin sound. By the way I am really thankful to my dad to listened me Andre Rieu songs since my childhood.
Indescribable beauty Indescribable feeling Indescribable comfort And something indescribable Rieu is an Alchemist of the sorrowful music This footage and his performance are full of sadness and emotion
Oh I just adore this music. I have the movie on DVD and I love it. Andre is so sensitive to what is beautiful. He plays to all the emotions. I just love him. If I met him we'd talk music I'm sure. Bless him
Brings tears to my eyes. So beautiful ❤ Reminds me how I felt when I met my husband ( pure and real love) we’ve been married for 30 years. but also brings sorrow of the loss of my mom and the hope of seeing her again. And the end how Jah is going to make it all better soon.
True and lasting peace can only come through a personal relationship with God's son Jesus Christ. In God's Holy word it says..."Jesus said to them, come unto me all you who labor and are heavy burdened and I will give you rest for I (God) am gentle in heart and you will find rest for your soul." I am speaking from experience.
Bravo, bravisimo , hermoso! !! Hermoso 🎵🎶❤🎵🎶❤❤❤❤🎶🎵🎶🎶
I have heard many versions of this theme, the execution of this artist is just perfect! He performs all the drama in such a humble way that it makes me live it for real. He is magical!
