I loved and was always a big fan of Billie Holiday for close to 50 years . Diana Ross did a great job at portraying Miss Holiday in Lady Sings The Blues . But Andra Day really came much closer to looking more like Billie Holiday . Her voice and style was more symbolic to Miss Holiday .I am so happy that Diana Ross and Andra Day brought Miss Holidays story to life. The world and especially new generations will learn the ups and downs of the true life of this wonderful Icon .I’m glad that Billie Holidays story will not be forgotten and lost to time .🌺

She was the guest on when I first started watching the show (on other network that needs not be named) No cap, I had no idea who she was but I liked her style. Two days later I had playlist created around her soulful voice.
