I agree with you Rocky--This is the funniest video ever--made by 2 people who are two of the greatest entertainers EVER--and wonderful human beings. Both should get GOLD metals for their contributions to entertainment
Every night the last hour I watch one of Dame edna's shows, especially with the superstars. It always makes me feel very good. So talented, so gifted, so funny. A great gift to the world.
Tears running down my face whenever l watch Dame Edna. It should be supplied for all people who feel depressed or down. I am English and in UK she was a national treasure ... and ALWAYS WILL BE. Australia really know what living is all about ... greatest country in the world.
“…it’s good to know where your journey ends” - this line from Dame Edna’s song hits differently now after we know that Barry Humphries died not only in Australia but in that very city of Sydney. So sad still that Dame Edna will never bully and entertain us again!
That talented lad looks like his grandfather. Talent runs in that family - it fairly gallops! Dame Edna always lightens my mood with her wit and satire, and her humor with a message in it (but if you can't find the message, who cares? it's comedy, not a telegram!). Like everyone else in the world, I love that grand dame!
My family and I went to see Andre Rieu at the Perth Arena on the 3rd November 2016 and what a ight . Three hours of non stop entertainement . I night we will never forget. Hope he comes back to Perth again.
Like everyone else,I love this,but...without taking anything away from Andre, have you heard the alternative Brahms piece...it's an old comedy version called Hungarian Ghoulash, and was sung by Alan Sherman, very very funny..and clever.
I have a good friend in Brazil who plays violin in an orchestra in Sao Paulo, and I'm sure that her dream would be to play on the same stage as Andre, the greatest violinist in the world.
Australia home..he has come to shore. Australia..rip..love him…omg cannot believe he’s gone..god bless, amazing person..funny, hilarious, can make anybody laugh..Godspeed 🥹🥹🥲💋💋💋😎❤️🌠
To be able to sing, full voice as Dame Edna, shows the talent and physical mastery Barry Humphries had in his craft. Sheer perfection! And so beautiful to give the stage to his grandson. What a wonderful gesture! There will never be another like him (or her!).
《I still call Australia home》 Original singer: Peter Allan. I been to cities that never close down From New York to Rio and Old London Town But no matter how far or how wide I roam I still call Australia home I'm always travelling I love being free And so I keep leaving the sun and the sea But my heart lies waiting over the foam I still call Australia home All the sons and daughters Spinning around the world Away from their family and friends But as the world gets older and colder Its good to know where your journey ends Someday we'll all be together once more When all of the ships come back to the shore I realise something I've always known I still call Australia home But no matter how far or wide I roam I still call Australia I still call Australia I still call Australia home But no matter how far or wide I roam I still call Australia I still call Australia I still call Australia home
Aunque no se el idioma y no entiendo pues soy chilena todo esto que hace en su shows este señor es hermoso gracioso lo felicitooo❤❤❤incluyendo a su orquesta
Should maybe have explained about Alan Sherman,he was an American comedian who took songs written by famous composers and put his own words to the tunes.Songs such as 'Beautiful Dreamer' became 'Beautiful Teamsters' ( about US Unions )..'Shine on Harvest Moon' became 'Shine on Harvey Bloom' ( about US astronaut), but he did have one massive hit world-wide, called 'Hello Muddah,Hello Fadduh' about a little boy forced to go to Summer Camp, really funny.
