I wonder if this was on Jaime’s “bucket list”. He has a voice but I’m sure hasn’t had training like Andrea. They did this!!!! Have watched about 4 times this morning.
Jamie seemed nervous at the start. Singing alongside an opera/classical singer must be really daunting. They are in an entirely different league. But, Jamie is really good at what he does.
Sure, Foxx is humbled for the opportunity to share his gift with the world but I didn’t sense nervousness at all. This wasn’t their first time singing the song together. Many hours of rehearsals. Plus Foxx is a professional and certainly respects Bocelli and his gift.
Jaime is free up singing in church and he also has a scholarship for classical piano in college… what would make you think he’s in a “different league” … he is combining soul and classical and doing it “his way” ….
