I must admit, I was reluctant to try Larsens on my cello. The A and D Originals do sound better than any other ones when combined with Spiro Tugs medium. I am not sure if they last as much as other good choices, but the sound is really noble, and the strings are capable of so many different colors that it is worth having them, even if for a shorter life span.

does Magncore have a string set far a arpeggione 1/4 cello ?

We only currently supply Magnacore in 4/4 but can recommend the Fractional Cello strings for the smaller cello.

What combination did Andreas use?

I was trying to identify the combination used on this video, and try it on my Stradivarius, :) So far I got the silk color codes match as described below. A = Magnacore Strong D = Magnacore Medium G = Magnacore Arioso C = ? The C string seems to be bespoke, in experimental phase, or my Larsen Strings silk color chart is outdated. @Bruno Maia Musician .'. Good Job! Thank you. It was disappointing that the video didn't actually say much about how to choose the strings, or what he ultimately chose. I know that cello playing happiness is everything, but I'd like to know how to get there. So, just like you, I'll try a set on my old Stradivarius, and see how it sounds.
