Nice video! You did very well for somebody who doesn't skate flat. I've never heard any complaints about this frame on rails, it's only angle irons and ledges that I've heard people talk about the snake coming out and biting em. Murdered that PVC 🤘
I wouldn’t say they’re light 😬 trying out the shifts myself and I really have to jump in them. Anyways good review and I love your backyard setup! Keep up the content!
@@THEBLADINGCODEI have the grey shifts with Kizer fluid 4 frames in anti and I feel like they’re kinda on the heavy side honestly. Not too heavy but they got some weight. I have Fm4s, fr UFR, and I’ve skated aeons before those are all super light. I don’t mind the weight though because light skates have me over jump everything and that could sketchy sometimes 😂
I must just be use to the heavy clunky skates from 15 years ago, not to mention I only recently managed to downsize my skate shells some, seems like everything I put on now feels light lolol
@@THEBLADINGCODE Ooooh ok yea downsizing will definitely help! It'll increase responsiveness too. Also yea technology has changed quite a bit these days i'm sure you've noticed already lol. I came back riding Genesys, switched to SLs and was like woah! From there i've just been like everyone else trying to find "my skate" or one that works for me.
@@THEBLADINGCODE Yeahhh it was either the shifts or the sl, but I feel like the shifts have so much for the value. The reign liner, ifc system, and the bearings are better quality I believe. I really like the Jeph howard model, just don’t know if I should just take the cramped pain and deal with it
@@jsou6609 I've considered taking a heat gun to the shell just around the top of the toes and seeing what would happen. May try and pick up a beater shift shell and give it a go
I don't think I'd want to ride flat on creates! Haha. Love the frames but zero inner wheel protection. These flt4 ground controls have really impressed me for flat skating though!
