I'm Getting Quite Thrilled

I loved The Thin Blue Line, but ironically I ended up disliking Dreyfuss when he went on to Gimme Gimme Gimme and seemed only capable of playing that gay stereotype. However, I heard him on a Doctor Who audio and it blew my mind how good he was in it. Yet Big Finish who made those audios were the ones who cancelled him.

The expression "get woke, go broke" is an accurate reflection of how these companies will fare when they go down that route. Big Finish who cancelled Dreyfuss AND John Barrowman have now got impressionists like Jon Culshaw playing all the deceased actors from Doctor Who. They also have cast members from every woke check box rather than hiring talented actors who have proven their talent in the audio medium. I supported Big Finish for many years from when they first started, but I and many others have just given up on them. I've no interest in soundalikes or woke casting.
