His agenda somewhat sounds like what Michael Manley was trying to implement in Jamaica throughout the 1970’s, which wasn’t a bad idea, think about it. Michael relationship with Fidel and trying to have a relationship with the US also wasn’t what the Carter Administration wanted. Now we are having the same with the Chinese and trying to invite or keep the US also. But back then during the 1970’s the threat of communism and the Cold War atmosphere give the United States in that era cold feet, to embark on the mission implement their Foreign Policies in the most negative fashion to make the Jamaican people suffer. Which causes us to losing investment, And forcing politicians to borrow money from the IMF and World Bank putting Jamaica at a disadvantage to pay back these Loan Sharks type institutions.
